About the adventure
The Underdark is a subterranean wonderland, a vast and twisted labyrinth where fear reigns. It is here that the dark elf Gromph Baenre, Archmage of Menzoberranzan, casts a foul spell meant to ignite a magical energy that suffuses the Underdark, and he tears open portals to the demonic Abyss in the process. What steps through surprises even him, and from that moment on, the insanity that pervades the Underdark escalates and threatens to shake the Forgotten Realms to its foundations. Stop the madness before it consumes you! This is a level 1-15 campaign using the world's greatest roleplaying game. Player characters will face off against demonic creatures, mind flayers, and other nightmarish foes as you navigate the abyssal realm where madness reigns and unspeakable horrors await!

Creating your character
There will be a D&D Beyond campaign created for this campaign. You may customize your character using any of the races/classes from the Player's Handbook, Tasha's, Xanathar's, and Monsters of the Multiverse. All characters will start at level 1 unless we've already started the adventure, in which case you can create a character at whatever level the party is currently at! If you are unsure which character to play, let me know and I will help you choose a race/class combination that will fit the character you want to play!
