About the adventure
Ruin of the Thunder Clerics is an original Forever DM one-shot designed especially for new players. No experience is required, and you'll be guided through everything you need to play. Local legends speak of a drowned cathedral, an ancient sanctum once ruled by the clerics of a tempest goddess. Now something foul stirs in the flooded ruins. Strange creatures have been seen near the surface. Will you dive beneath the surface to face the terrors of the deep? This adventure features the hallmarks of a classic dungeon crawl with a dash of Lovecraftian horror.

Creating your character
Please prepare your level 3 character ahead of the session. Any official D&D 5e content is allowed, including 2024 rules. The game will be run using 5e 2014 rules. Pre-made characters will be available to pick from on our virtual tabletop (VTT) Shard Tabletop. If you decide to make your character sheet outside of Shard Tabletop please be sure to make a placeholder character in Shard for ease of running combat. Character Creation - Characters must be 3rd level - Standard Array OR Point Buy - Multiclassing Allowed - Tasha's Origin Customization Allowed Starting Equipment - Class & Background Starting Equipment Only
Welcome to the Oops All! series! Each one shot will be made of a single class, though any subclasses within that class are fair game. In the spirit of the series, no multiclassing is allowed. Please note that this adventure isn't necessarily balanced to favor one class or the other. The challenge (and fun!) will come from learning to overcome these challenges and to see if a mono-class party can prevail!
