About the adventure
A beginner friendly, lgbtq friendly introduction campaign to the Stormlight RPG set between the events of Oathbringer and Rhythm of War. Players will take control of character within the city of Kholinar (Human or Singer) who are trying to survive in the wake of the city's occupation by the Unmade and the failed attempt to liberate the city by the King Elhokar. The Cosmere RPG has only freshly released as such many people may still be learning the system. This game will be handled with the expectation that pausing to look up rules, or answer questions is going to happen. Players will be expected to have the same level of patience for new players as everyone else. Character creation will be done together as a group during our session 0. There will be no homebrewing, as the intent is to keep this campaign as close to the rules of the Book as possible. This will include playtest or revealed materials from the Mistborn RPG, this campaign will be pulling from the Stormlight Campaign Setting exclusively for character options.

Creating your character
Character Creation will be handled in a group on session 0 so people can create goals that mesh with the rest of the game and will keep the game focused towards progress. We will be excluding homebrew materials, or materials included in any other Cosmere RPG supplement
What to expect
Preparing for the session
A discord is required, we will also be using Roll20 for battle maps and there is a character sheet there as well. Please make sure to have both accounts before the Session 0.
What Junior brings to the table
I deliver an intense game that challenges players and characters, and integrates character stories into the larger narrative as intimately as I can. I use some voices, but like to alternate depending on the tone of the scene in question. Ultimately I bring a calm and teacher-like quality to my games and try to foster a play experience of inclusion and comfort, while keeping the stress to the characters in game and not on the players at the table as I can.

How Junior creates a safe table
We will go over lines and veils at the start of session 0, and players are always encouraged to pause, call for time outs or step away if needed so things can be addressed in a safe and respectful way. The Stormlight Archive as a setting often deals with death, slavery, and other heavy topics so coming prepare for things to be in similar tone to the material is a good idea, but this will all be covered in Session 0.
