About the adventure
I run two versions of this campaign, a standard PBP and an ERP enabled PBP. The ERP PBP is only open to players 18+ and must comply with both SPG and Discord safety policies. The ERP PBP has an additional $5 E tax. Dance of the Centipede is a long-form, Play-by-Post D&D campaign set across the fractured realms of Ruha, where strange omens and impossible disasters are beginning to ripple through the world. Rivers reverse, storms strike from clear skies, and old symbols appear where they shouldn’t. As these events escalate, unlikely strangers find themselves drawn together—not by destiny, but by the pattern forming beneath their feet. Something ancient is stirring, and the world is beginning to notice. This campaign blends high fantasy exploration, cosmic mystery, and dark atmospheric storytelling. Players will investigate prophecies, navigate shifting alliances, and uncover the hidden forces shaping the world’s decline. Though combat exists, the heart of this game lies in narrative choice, character connection, and the slow unravelling of a threat far larger than any one hero. Expect a tone that moves between wonder and dread, where strange beauty sits beside creeping unease. As a Play-by-Post game, the story unfolds throughout the week rather than in a single session. Posts tend to be short and frequent, allowing the narrative to breathe and evolve at each player’s pace. If you enjoy consistent worldbuilding, descriptive roleplay, and having time to craft your character’s voice, this format will feel like home. About me
Hi, my name is Kan, and I love writing, reading and playing fantasy games. I have over ten years of experience playing roleplaying games and have been an active member in the D&D community for five years now. I study Creative Writing and English Literature at the University of Leeds in the UK and I'm the president of the DiceSoc (TTRPG Society) where we run weekly games for our members to enjoy. I consider myself very patient, flexible and accommodating to both new and experienced players, and love teaching the world of D&D. Aside from being a DM, I am a lover of writing and poetry, which I include in games as my way to freshen up puzzles and lore.

Crunchy Crits! Whenever you roll a critical hit, you deal the total possible damage across all dice that you roll for that attack's damage. Then roll and add the two. This leaves for huge damage, making those critical hits truly feel worth it! Other homebrew rules are listed in the group discord!
