I'm new player friendly 🫶🏻 I don't bite...the monsters do 🧌 My first D&D game I ran was in a storage closet under the stairs in a church community centre (unfortunately no Hogwarts letters arrived for me!🦉) that group started 8 years ago and evolved into a group still running and fumbling dice consistently to this day. 🎲 I like to run a balanced game of combat, roleplay and puzzles. Creating your character
✍️ Starting Level of 3. ✍️ Stats can be either point buy or rolled for alongside the GM. ✍️ No Homebrew Classes, Races or Spells allowed. ✍️ Feats are allowed including Variant Human. ✍️ We'll build and finalise characters together and carry out introductions in a FREE Session Zero. ✍️ We use Roll20. All official 5E sourcebooks are allowed. I've purchased them all! ✍️ If you prefer D&D Beyond you can link that to Roll20 to keep your familiarity, Link in my Discord. ✍️ Have an character concept in mind? Bring it! I’ll help you shape it to fit the campaign.

Homebrew rules
🫖 Drinking or administering a potion is a bonus action. 🫖 All Player death saving throws are to be whispered to GM to add a sense of urgency. 🫖 Flanking is used by giving advantage. 🫖 D10 Recap These are dice given for successful player recaps from previous session, to be used on any roll! This acts in the same way as a Bards Bardic Inspiration (+ or -) to a roll. This cannot mitigate natural 20's or natural 1's. 🫖 Long resting gives back the full amount of Hit Die. 🫖 Ability / Spell Lengths: - 1 Hour Duration = Per Short Rest - Daily / Next Dawn = Per Long rest. 🫖 Difficult terrain is used as is the following: Allies Forests Swamps/Marshes Mountains/Caves Winter: Deep snow, ice Rubble & Debris Low Furniture Corpse Piles Other Creatures Spells Climbing Swimming Crawling Note: You can jump to try and mitigate some of these! 🫖 Passive Perception will be predominantly used for entering rooms and for what people see you can still roll perception checks as per usual if you wanted. 🫖 Material Components are needed for spells if it incurs a cost. (Find Familiar uses 10gp worth of incense etc which is used during the spell). 🫖 Standard Encumberence is used 15x STR modifier Note:To simplify these rules you will not be able to carry more that your capacity, you will have to drop items. 🫖 Skill Checks - 1) A player may make a skill check whenever they wish. 2) A player with proficiency in the skill being tested may offer the “Help” Action 3) Only if the assisting character has expertise then they can add the expertise modifier onto this check. 4) If a player is either performing or providing help they cannot give guidance cantrip or any other aid to the check. 5) Half Proficiency does not count towards being proficient. 🫖 Cover rules are used.
