About the adventure
Beneath a relentless sun, the Iron Circle burns, and you burn with it. Every day you push through dust, ruin, and the scraps left behind after the Cataclysm shattered the land. You have watched mercenaries carve up the world beneath countless banners while you scrape by at the bottom. But no more. Step into a world where fortune favours those bold enough to seize it. Whether driven by desperation or ambition you have the opportunity to carve a new future where every choice matters. The Iron Circle was once united. A force of mercenaries so vast, their name came to define the continent itself. They sought conquest, dominance, a world bound by coin and contract. But then the sky split. The Cataclysm shattered the world. Rifts opened like wounds, and from them came things not born of this realm — twisted, ravenous, and all too real. They still roam the wilds, burrow through ruins, and wait in the dark. The Iron Circle endured. The world did not. In the wake of that chaos rose Sovereign Mavric Solar — warlord, emperor, and prophet of the Shadow Claw Cult. He offers immortality to those who rise above the rest, believing the strongest, those who shape the world, are the true inheritors of life. His rule binds the land in name, but every sword has its own price, and every banner its own ambition. Civil war smoulders across the continent, fought in shadows, skirmishes, and sieges. Somewhere in the dust, a new mercenary company sharpens its blades. Small. Unproven. But in the Iron Circle, even the smallest spark can set the world on fire.

Meet the Game Master
About me
Greetings, fellow adventurers! I am Kiefer Seeley, a seasoned Game Master, talented voice actor, and devout follower of Christ. It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance! From an early age, I was fortunate to be encouraged to unleash my imagination and nurture my creativity through play. Whether engaging in epic battles against invisible monsters or embracing the thrill of superhuman speed, these childhood adventures laid the foundation for my profound passion for the realm of fantasy. Through the guidance of my faith, this passion has led me to my current role as a Super-Hero! I have the privilege of hosting parties as various heroes or mascots, such as Batman, Spiderman, a minion, a pup from Paw Patrol, and many more! During my free time, you can often find me immersed in games like Civilization 6, Frostpunk, and Overwatch, or preparing for exhilarating Dungeons and Dragons campaigns as either a player or a game master. Beyond my love for the fantastical, I am also a devoted lover of animals. With extensive experience in raising pets and delving into their nature and behaviors, I have developed a profound understanding of our furry companions. Currently, I am the proud owner of two cats who regularly bless our family with adorable kittens before finding them suitable forever homes. Alongside my affinity for animals, I have a natural affinity for children as well. Being the eldest of five siblings and actively volunteering in various kids ministries, I have honed my patience and forged meaningful relationships with individuals of all ages. I am eager and excited to embark on this adventure together with all of you. Let us delve into the vast realms of imagination and create unforgettable stories and experiences that will leave us inspired and enthralled. May our journey be filled with joy, camaraderie, and the endless wonders that await us!

What to expect
Preparing for the session
I will provide you with my Roll20 and Discord server links upon joining. Chat, lore, interaction will take place on Discord, while gameplay takes place on Roll20.
What Kiefer brings to the table
A fun and safe community with frequent events beyond your typical scheduled sessions, free to participate at your own leisure. Open GM on Discord if you ever have questions or want to chat, I am happy to chat. Prepared maps on Roll20 with dynamic lighting, music, prepared tactical combat, and interactable structures and objects - some animated. Professionally trained actor with voice, theatre, film & television. Vast understanding of RAW with some flexibility. I try to stay closely RAW, with some exceptions. Skill story teller, prepared to roll with the punches and go where the party leads. It's your adventure, you are only limited by what is possible!
Homebrew rules
The cap to fall damage is increased. Falling is a forced movement that requires no movement to travel - a creature may use a reaction to catch/grab a falling creature. Flanking advantage and hight advantage with ranged attacks are included. Ranged attacks taken as reactions have disadvantage against dashing creatures.

How Kiefer creates a safe table
The main thing is for everyone to have fun. My main expectation is that we all respect each other. I have a rules page in my Discord that I encourage everyone to read over. Please do not DM other players without first receiving verbal consent. I am free to message any time. Session 0 we will go over lines and vails. I encourage player liberty, but when your character choices will cause another player direct nuance - such as locking them in a cage with no way out for any other reason then "it's what my character would do", then I lean towards respect towards players once again.
