About the adventure

300 years of winter have finally ended and the giants of the world have mysteriously vanished, leaving the world to the small bugfolk of the world. Leave the safety of the Great Oak Kingdom and explore the world that the giants have left behind but beware, the creatures of the wilds are all waking to reclaim the world, reports of giant relics running rampant, creatures made of metal and a strange plague spreading through the underbrush has threatened to push The Great Oak Kingdom back into the shadow of the underground. Taking inspiration from Smallands, Grounded, Honey I shrunk the kids, The Borrowers and much more this campaign will follow The 31st, an expedition team made of ragtag bugfolk adventurers as they are sent out to explore the world of giants. Each expedition will make up 3-5 sessions with each expedition working towards uncovering secrets of the world of giants.

About me

Fueled by ADHD and caffeine and I have been running games since 2016. I like running a variety of different themed games from whimsical and fantasy to dark, gritty and sci-fi. (It honestly depends on what media I've been consuming at the time) I prefer running long-term campaigns in rich, custom worlds where I have a bit more wiggle room to manage the unpredictability of players. I enjoy rewarding players with custom items and feats depending on the trials and challenges they have faced or for unique milestones.

What Zesk brings to the table

I try my best to do voices but don't expect voice actor quality, I often associate a voice claim to an NPC to help the narrative, the scene and the roleplay in general. I use ambience and combat music through a discord bot and also try my best to use a soundboard to add to immersion and real time roleplaying. I do rule as written for the most part but allow for rule of cool if and when I think it is appropriate and as long as it doesn't get abused.

Homebrew rules

Bonus action potion drinking Main action for health potion gives you maximum healing Secret death saving throws After the first death resurrections incur a dc check that gets more difficult with each resurrection.

Safety

How Zesk creates a safe table

I will be sending a lines and veil link to fill out and send back to me so I know what topics to stay away from ect. I usually stay around after session for 10-15 minutes to make sure everyone had a good time, to see if anyone had an issues during the game with rulings or topics not previously brought up. General mediating if players are having disagreements amongst themselves.
