About the adventure
This adventure is for players who are more well versed in Draw Steel's design and want to jump right into the deep end! It won't hold back on the cool cinematic scenes and moments that will make you feel heroic! I plan to run this adventure close to the book and adjust things as necessary to give us a compelling narrative true to our characters that will feel fulfilling at the end. If this adventure ends and everybody is onboard with continuing it into a homebrewed campaign beyond what's in the book I am more than willing to do so as well.

About me
Hello! I've been a GM for a decade now, running multiple long lasting sessions for friends, family, and strangers. I love introducing new players to TTRPGs. My two biggest traits for my players and myself are: - Respect for everyone's time at the table - Communication I hold myself to a high standard of quality from session to session and always look for feedback to improve. BIPOC, ND and LGBTQ+ Friendly! 🏳️🌈 To play you will need: - Microphone - Discord - PC (Mobile devices don't work very well for many VTTs) - Relatively quiet space to play Optional: Camera (This is optional because not everyone is comfortable with sharing their face online. I ask for this because it helps keep things personal and engaged when I can visibly see how people are reacting to what's happening, also makes it easier to see who wants to jump into a conversation without interrupting verbally)

Creating your character
There are pregenerated characters if you prefer to take them. You may also make a level 1 hero from scratch using only official Draw Steel sources, we will have a session 0 which will include character creation and general discussion.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
I will be running the game through MCDM's work in progress VTT called "The Codex" It is handled through steam and I will get my players keys for access before session 0. I will also be hosting the required information through a Discord server.
What Scott C. (Director) brings to the table
I am a big believer in player aids, The Codex will handle a lot of automation to speed up our games and answer many questions. I do play very tactically and true to the monsters so be careful with that. That said I stick mostly to the rules, especially in Draw Steel, there is always some wiggle room depending on the situation though and we will discuss and cross that bridge together if necessary. I also like to have sound effects, ambient and battle music, and full on maps with terrain where possible.

For safety tools I will link everyone the Lines and Veils document and compile a master list anonymously to post in the discord. we will also use a digital X, N & O system. and my DM's are always open before, during, and after sessions for any concerns which I can address to make you more comfortable in the future. I also ask for stars and wishes so I can improve session by session and tailor the experience to your liking.
