About the adventure
It starts with small things. Bad dreams. Strange symbols. People who stop sleeping… and never wake again. You are recruits of the Lussida Adventurers Guild, sent to deal with problems no one else wants to face. But every solved job reveals another unanswered question... and every answer points toward something ancient that should have stayed buried. A cult is gathering relics tied to a forgotten war. Old prophecies are resurfacing. And something in the dark is beginning to notice those who interfere. This is a campaign of investigation, survival, and hard choices; where heroism is earned, not promised, and victory always comes at a cost. The world doesn’t know it yet… but it is already under siege. As an aside: With respect to my time and efforts in game preparation and personal assets used in running the game - any unexcused no shows will be charged the same as if they had been there. You buy the seat, your choice if you're in it or not.

About me
I love playing Dungeons & Dragons and I’m always up for trying new games. I enjoy being creative with my characters and NPCs, and nothing beats the feeling of telling a story that truly immerses people. My goal is for players to get so drawn in that they lose themselves in another world for a few hours. I’ve been DMing for almost five years...probably more by the time you read this. I started with weekend one shots and eventually began running near daily games on a West Marches server. Over time, I’ve developed a full homebrew world that I’d love for others to experience. What I thrive on is making sure that each person has a unique experience in a game. I love when my players have ah ha moments, or moments where their jaws hit the ground...being able to hear and see the joy the experience while in a game is rewarding. I always try to bring something fresh to my games; new mechanics, creative twists, and narrative depth, to keep every session exciting and engaging for my players.

Creating your character
Characters will start at level 3. We will have a session 0 to go over character creation and any additional details for the game. Session 0 will be free for players. Once you are in the game you will have access to Roll20 and my compendium. Anything that you can find is open to you. There are a few race restrictions because it wouldn't fit in with the setting, but that is about it. We will go over the setting and backstory of the world, players will have a chance to ask questions about Lussida and the Nine, we will also go over homebrew rules and what the players would want to see and experience within the game.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players will need a mic. No software is needed, just discord for voice chat and a roll20 account (both are free to the player). Have an idea of what kind of character you want to be as well.
What That Witchy DM brings to the table
Everything is virtual so we will be using roll20 for maps, character creation and rolls. I will also bring npcs that will evoke emotion from the players. And most importantly, a really fun game.
Homebrew rules
I will go over these rules with the group. I allow my players to veto anything they don't like, as a group. Players may also make suggestions that could be used.

How That Witchy DM creates a safe table
Before the game begins I will touch base with players and make sure what their lines and veils are. I will also give a breakdown of the world. I encourage creating a backstory once they have an idea of the world and the setting, as I do use that in my campaigns. Everything listed in content warnings does not necessarily mean it will happen, and the story can be tailored to make sure everyone feels comfortable.
