About the adventure
Evil hides in every shadow Evil creatures have always lurked in the deepest reaches of the world. Demons and witches stealing people's souls, making dangerous bargains. Vampires and werewolves preying on the weak. Ghosts and wraiths haunting abandoned places. Fight fire with fire The Damocles Division was created as a means to counteract the paranormal and the supernatural, by learning to control it. The division is tasked with finding people of extraordinary talents, and training them to hunt. This is where you come in. You are a hunter You have been trained to fight all manner of paranormal creatures, you are a hunter, a soldier, a tool. What do you make of that? What do you think of the monsters you hunt? What do you think of the organization? How will you react if you ever kill the wrong one? - Damocles is a City of Mist game with a heavy focus on roleplaying and difficult decisions. Standing on the "monster hunter" trope, the themes of the campaign are good vs evil, autonomy vs idleness and cruelty vs kindness. Its inspiration lies in stories like Hellboy and Chainsaw Man.

About me
Hi! I'm Shanna. I'm from Argentina, I'm 24 years old. I've been a GM consistently for 8 years now. I started with D&D 4e, then jumped to 5e, where I stayed for most of my time as a GM. Over time I've been a GM for other systems like City of Mist and Vampire the Masquerade. Although my experience is mostly with D&D, I find my passion in lesser known, more indie rpgs. RPGs like CAIN and Ten Candles being some of my favorites. If you want to play niche-indie TTRPGs from itch.io, I'm your girl. I do not use AI in any way, and don't endorse the use of it either. Creating your character
We'll make characters together during session zero, but you're encouraged to think of a few ideas for your character beforehand. We will also be creating the crew theme together during session zero. All levels of awareness are allowed, all themebooks from the player's guide are allowed. I will provide premade characters and a premade crew theme and you can choose from those if you want to!
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Be sure to have a Discord account and an Alchemy account. Microphone is needed, a webcam is not needed but encouraged.
What Shanna brings to the table
I'll provide an original story, with nuanced characters and immersive scenes. I take on a player focused approach, so I'll be attentive of your character's backstory and goals and prepare around that.

How Shanna creates a safe table
We'll manage Lines and Veils, as well as the use of the x-card through the Alchemy VTT. On session zero we'll discuss any specifics I should know. I'll ask for optional feedback (stars and wishes) at the end of every session.
