About the adventure
Come learn to play D&D! This game is for newcomers to safely accumulate to the rules. We will play in my homebrew world, which I customize to each new party. This one-shot will be a brief taste of the gritty fantasy world I've created. The game will feature harsh environments and themes of survival. However, there's no need to worry about making mistakes, your characters won't die of a single mistake or bad roll. I will also support and advise you throughout the game if you feel like you need help. I like to improvise a lot to give players maximal freedom in action. Often my plans go completely out the window and I'm okay with that. I abide by Rule of Cool, meaning rules can be bent to improve the experience. Come try D&D, it might surprise you.

About me
I am 29 years old and have been gamemastering on and off since I was 11. I enjoy all sorts of roleplaying, but mostly play DnD. I've run games on Roll20, but most of my experience is playing in person. Personally I most enjoy post-apocalyptic and fantasy media. Playing roleplaying games sustains me, I love co-creating stories both as a player and as a GM.

Creating your character
If you register early enough, I will go through the character creation process with you. Should you arrive too late for that, I have some pre-made characters ready for you. You may also create your own character on your own. In that case, make a 3rd level adventurer.

What Artur Rõigas brings to the table
A safe environment to learn the game and have fun. The themes are harsh, but that doesn't exclude goofing around and being silly sometimes. I abide by the Rule of Cool, so anything may be attempted once.

How Artur Rõigas creates a safe table
We will be discussing our limits and preference briefly before the game. We will also be using Roll20's XNO cards to adjust the game as it goes on. After the game we can debrief, discussing our characters and the events of the game. Players may leave the session at any point for any reason and will be welcomed back if they choose to return.
