About the adventure
The Icewind Dale is a frost covered region of the Forgotten Realms. In recent years it has been cursed by Auril the Frostmaiden. She rides at night to plunge the Dale into an endless winter night. Your characters arrive in one of the Ten Towns of Icewind Dale as your adventure to end this curse begins. This adventure will have a lot of emphasis on survival as the nights are long and cold, the blizzards are harsh, and the monsters are not forgiving. Not only will you be a hero to the people, but you will also explore the fringes of the region to find hidden cabins, dungeons and keeps. Discover conspiracies and long lost cities as your attempt to put a stop to this goddess making the people suffer.

About me
I've been GMing for about 6 years now and love every second of it. I greatly enjoy crafting little sandboxes for others and just letting them run wild and seeing what antics they come up with. I rely heavily on collaborative world building with the use of "yes and". I've run fantasy settings with Dungeons and Dragons, Cyberpunk settings with Shadowrun and old timey horror settings with Candela Obscura and Call of Cthulu.

Creating your character
You will need a level 1 character following typical DnD character creation rules. Try to consider why you're character is in the Icewind Dale. Are they there because of the stories of the winter? Perhaps they just always lived there and suffer along side all the other residents.

What Alan Diaz brings to the table
I am by no means a voice actor, but I try to use different tones and accents for different characters, I tend to re use voices but only if those characters are never going to be in the same room. I rely heavily on rule of cool. I care more about a cool/funny story than "sticking to the rules."

How Alan Diaz creates a safe table
I use lines and veils and will request everyone fill out a check list before or during the session 0. If I see any lines or veils that I feel might be used in someone's background story for their character, I will share with them anonymously that someone has that as a line.
