About the adventure
You are lost. Cast adrift in the wake of tragedy. Looking out, towards the horizon, you feel unsure of where your place is to be in this world. You've taken to the road in an effort to find your home, but you are not alone, walking along side you are others who feel the same way. You may not travel together forever, but at least for now, your hearts pull in the same direction. Lights glimmer in the dark, the faint flickering of a sweet warmth. Things from forgotten aeons lie sunken in murky swamp waters, relics and mysteries awaiting curious paws. Small spirits tend to the resting grounds of dead gods and great heroes. Witches brew tea as fallen stars dance in circles through the moors. Breathe with us. Welcome to the Hæth, a land of magic and animal folk, steeped in twee aesthetic. You will take on the role of one of these animal folk as they wander through this rules light therapeutic campaign. The journey is entirely up to you, go where your heart desires, follow any of the many roads and trails, or if none of them suit you, journey off the path, into the wilds to discover what lies there. While you may strive to find a place of comfort and peace, this is not the case for all in this world. Some do not forget the grudges and violence born of a long fought war so easily. Best to steer clear of them, surely they'll burn themselves out before much comes of this.

Meet the Game Master
About me
Hi, I'm Lyra, a 20 year old trans woman, running TTRPGs almost constantly since the 8th grade. I love horror media, from movies and TV to books, podcasts, and games. I frequently draw inspiration from these when planning TTRPG sessions. Some of my earliest memories are of telling stories to my peers, whether to entertain or just for personal enjoyment. My short story "My fingers still search for her" was published in Plenitude Magazine in 2025 and can be read here: https://plenitudemagazine.ca/my-fingers-still-search-for-her.

Creating your character
During session 0 you will choose your playbook and go through the process of making the choices described in the playbook. If none of the playbooks presented in the Corebook are piquing your interest or you have something specific in mind other playbooks may be brought in. A PDF character sheet will be provided for you to keep track of your character.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You will receive a link to a private Discord server. Joining the server will require having or creating an account. Sessions will be held on call in this server, requiring a mic, and optionally a camera.
What Lyra brings to the table
I will bring the land of the Hæth to life via a custom ambient playlist for each session, vivid descriptions, and varied character voices. I will set the ground work for you and your fellow travelers to walk and build upon. With this campaign I will be very open throughout play to cultivate an atmosphere of safety. This will include speaking to decisions I make as a GM as well as referencing personal takes on aspects of our tale. I invite you to do the same. What I basically mean is I'll be a person at the table and not a third party referee/narrator.
Homebrew rules
Wanderhome was designed as a GMless system with the option of having a more traditional TTRPG experience with a set GM. So while I will be GMing by running NPCs, environments, etc., you are free to describe and add flavour as you feel moved to.

Safety
How Lyra creates a safe table
This game is intended to be a place of safety for all players. To achieve this end a Session 0 will be held to set expectations and decide Lines & Veils. This can be thought of as deciding what things we'd like to explore, which we would rather only exist at a distance, and the things we'd rather not exist at all in our fantasy world. During the campaign you may use X, N, and O cards at any time, either verbally or via chat. There should be no shame or fear about halting game flow to use these tools. Your safety is more important than the journey. After each session I will stay on call to discuss and chat about the session. During this time we will also do Stars and Wishes, highlighting things we enjoyed and things we'd like to see in the future.
