About the adventure
Welcome to Starfeld, a simple but cosy town boasting both open day and night markets, and physical and magical contests of great feats. What is odd though, are the occupants of the town. A fog has settled over Starfeld in more than just weather. Can you figure out what's gone wrong, or will you be another victim lost in the mist? This game is currently open to new players looking to join a campaign fighting evil, exploring the world, and enjoying a good cup of coffee when there's time. We are starting at level 11 and plan to go to level 20. The campaign vibes are creepy and cosy with some mystery and puzzles a la The Owl House, Hilda, and Gravity Falls.

About me
Hello heroes! My name is Lyzzi and I’m a Canadian American GM who specialises in fun, character driven stories! Thank you for considering me as your GM! My love for fantasy and storytelling was ingrained in me as a young child. I loved the idea of making up my own worlds and fantastic stories. That led me to theatre in high school which naturally led me to D&D 5E. I am very all-or-nothing, so three months after becoming a player I started running one-shots for people like me; fresh beginners. Now I run games for all types of players, from beginners to veteran players. If you’re nervous about playing or lack of knowledge, that is totally okay. I love teaching and helping everyone become confident in playing. No one is too new to the game. I focus on creativity and allowing players the freedom to make who they want and what choices they want in the game, so I’m heavily Rule of Cool. My background as an enthusiastic-almost-author and washed up theatre kid makes me adept in the art of improv and descriptions, so expect a vibrant, interactive world and GM who can keep up with your crazy shenanigans! Fantasy and high magic and magic-infused campaigns are a passion of mine and I put my heart and soul into each and every one of my games. I specialise in D&D 5E but I am actively learning other game systems, including Avatar Legends and Pathfinder 2E. If you want to play a system or a fandom-themed compatible version of D&D 5E (like Star Wars 5E or Wands and Wizards etc) that I don’t have currently listed let me know and we’ll play it! Creating your character
Character Creation does not need to be finished before Session 0. All classes, races, backgrounds, etc canon or homebrew are allowed. Please send me a copy of your completed character sheet whenever it is finished so I can ensure balancing in the game. Session 0 will in part be used to allow the players to decide if their characters know each other from before, and how. Please be prepared to have your character know at least 1 other character in the party. If you are not sure what you want to do, please contact me and we can brainstorm some ideas together. We are using 2024 rules for character creation, but a mix of 2024 and 2014 for playing. (The mix is mostly on the side of the DM.)
Hello, and welcome to The Enchanted Gem! We currently have a bard and an artificer in the group. A combat heavy character would be beneficial to the party, but the choice is ultimately yours. I can't wait to see who you bring to the table!
What to expect
Preparing for the session
All players will need a working device that can connect to the internet and a working mic so everyone can hear you and vice versa. You will need a Discord and Roll20 accounts, both of which are free to sign up to. When you have done so, please message me and I will send you the link to the Discord server if you cannot find it.
What Lyzard the Bard brings to the table
I will be providing homebrew playable classes and races as well as homebrew items for all players to peruse and utilise if desired. I also use maps, music, and art to elevate immersion in game play.

How Lyzard the Bard creates a safe table
I play by the rule of cool; the players' ideas come first if possible and as such the rules as written don't always make sense. I also follow the Golden Rule and demand respect at all tables from all players, including myself. We will be playing on Discord so you will need an account.
