About the adventure
Nu-Chayhn has always been a quiet town, with a slow moving river that flows through the town and two main roads meeting around a town square. It's a peaceful life for the people there. Lately, however, something has changed. It started with whispers of creatures in the woods. Shadows that moved on their own. Myths, legends, things that didn't make sense or defied any ideas of magic they already knew. Then people began to disappear. First there was the traveling merchant whose cart was found overturned a half mile from the town. Then there were a few of the hunters, then farmers. Soon no one was going outside of their homes unless they had to. Some claimed to see a creature in the river. Some said there were wolves in the woods. Everyone agreed, something was hunting the people of Nu-Chayhn and no one could stop it. Cryptic letters began arriving on prominent adventurer's doorsteps, begging for help with the location of the town but no signature.

About me
I have been GMing games for a few years now, starting about a year after I played DnD for the first time. I am familiar with DnD best, and Star Wars Edge of the Empire second best. I've been GMing DnD for almost 5 years now. I am also very anti AI, so this will be true in every game I run.

Creating your character
We will do a bit of character creation in the beginning, but come with a concept and class chosen. We will roll for stats and magic items will be doled out. Starting level is going to be 10 for this one shot. Characters should be made on DnD Beyond, and anything homebrew must be approved by me. All official DnD books are available for character creation.

What Cris brings to the table
I love character voices, and if requested will put on some ambient music. I like Rule of Cool when it comes to DnD, but I try to keep as close to the Rules as Written as possible. Sometimes, the rules need to bend for the sake of story and epicness.
Homebrew rules
Drinking a potion is a bonus action, you must roll ABOVE the AC to hit someone. For the one shot, I will be rolling death saves secretly.
