About the adventure
Across FaerĂ»n, the name âWaterdeepâ evokes feelings of wonder, awe, and envy. Although it is not the largest city in the Realms, the City of Splendors is undoubtedly the most famous and most cosmopolitan metropolis on the continent of FaerĂ»n. Over a decade ago, the previous Open Lord, Dagult Neverember, embezzled a million gold pieces from the city. When the other officials noticed, Dagult was ousted, but he disappeared before they could question him. No one ever found the missing gold, and to this day, the hoard has been sought after by factions, treasure hunters, and thieves alike. But rumor has it that Neverember's hoard can be located with the help of a magical artifact, and that this artifact has been rediscovered by unsavory individuals. This is the story... of the Dragon Heist. ====== "Waterdeep at its finest" - We'll be playing My Fantasy Urban, a 10 to 15 session long campaign built upon the module "Waterdeep: Dragon Heist", and it's been rewritten to only include its best aspects! Chapters have been either rewritten or wholesale replaced to be more focused on both the Dragon Heist quest, and the Rules-Light Improv-Heavy Tavern Management Sim. GM Bee has added more scenes, locations, and NPCs to have more captivating Roleplay moments for the Players that make Dragon Heist feel less of a fetch quest video game and more like a City Urban Drama with a powerful Overarching Mystery alongside the Owning a Thriving Business and Workplace Shenanigans! "A grounded story and moments that pack a punch!" - GM Bee has remixed a lot of elements, including stuff from the Alexandrian Remix and Durnan's Guide to Tavernkeeping. Taking all sorts of inspirations, from TV to Nintendo to Anime... Basically, I'm having a LOT of fun with this module. There will be a good mix of lighthearted moments and real tension and tragedy I have big plans for Waterdeep! "Over 6 years of Writing, Planning, and Refinement in this Urban Campaign Experience!" - GM Bee has been crafting her own version of Waterdeep Dragon Heist since Mid 2019. Aside from streamlining the plot and adding her own improvements, GM Bee's My Fantasy Urban Adventure promises Preparedness, Focus, and Reliability. As much as we joke about "No GM Plan Survives the Table", GM Bee has run this adventure for multiple groups to completion over 6 times now. You might call this campaign a railroad, but like in a good way! Expect preparedness and me being an expert with what I have planned, so there's always story and content and no dead air, but enough flexibility and room for improvisation that the adventure feels personal and organic. "Although I champion the story and plot, Roleplay will be right there alongside." - There's always room for shenanigans and Player-Driven RP moments. So, if you want to flirt with the bar maiden, Go Ahead! But I will cut to the other players and juggle the spotlight, so everyone gets their moment to shine!

About me
" Hello! My name's Bee Sarmiento! I'm an artist and Dungeon Master! I've been playing D&D since September of 2018, and it's been my hyper-fixation ever since. I'd love to start DM-ing for you. Hope to see you at my table! " Bee Sarmiento is a Visual Artist, Cosplayer, and budding Game Developer. Bee was born in a small town in the Philippines, and from 2013 to 2017, sheâs been posting her drawings and works on various online communities, some more professional than others. In late 2017, several site revamps later, she started her blog busybeesarms and has since been posting digital paintings, doodles, and has been touring around the local convention circuit cosplaying and doing commissions. At the moment, she can be found working on various projects, such as ukulele covers, her upcoming indie video game, drafting various art pieces for her merch lineup for the next upcoming convention, or in her room eating eggs and fried rice in a bowl.

Creating your character
Here are two guides (Text Guide) https://www.thegamer.com/daggerheart-critical-role-create-character-guide/ (Video Guide) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6bV2K5eoJgk&ab_channel=CriticalRole And we're building in Roll20/Demiplane. Please also provide me! - Token of your Character - Quick Bullet Points about them - Tokens of your NPCs and Bullets about each of them Part of character creation, I ask you to provide 7-12 Character Backstory "Knives". See here: https://www.reddit.com/r/DnD/comments/775caq/my_friends_and_i_have_something_called_knife/ I'll also be asking you to choose a "Story Fate", a sort of playbook on the vibe of your character. These Story Fates are ripped from my DnD 5e version of my campaigns, so I still need to update them to fit Daggerheart's mechanics. The Campaign will last roughly 12 to 16 Sessions! I'm still learning Daggerheart, so this will be a learning to play campaign for both of us!
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Aside from an adequate computer, browser, microphone, and internet connection, our games will be played Via Discord and Roll20, so you'll need accounts for those. Webcams are optional, but encouraged! We'll use Roll20 for sheets and rolling. You can also use physical dice instead if you wish! A good understanding of the rules for Daggerheart is recommended, but not required. Because this is a very roleplay and investigation heavy adventure, I require good teamwork skills, cooperation, and good communication. Our games will be played in English, so you will need to be fluent. I have Pregenerated/Premade Character Sheets ready, but if you'd like to make your own, I'll also need a PNG of your character (ideally their face). I'll be making them into tokens, or you can make and send me the art as tokens yourself. Please do your best to show up 30 minutes early if you can. This is so that if we need to discuss any details before we start, we can do so. Also for the beginning of the campaign, I ask that you give me at least one significant NPC your character interacts with in the city, for roleplay purposes.
