About the adventure

As Northmen from various clans gather for the Midwinter Moot, the preperation is interrupted by an incident no blade can easily stop... Character creation

Creating your character

Characters will be created in D&D Beyond. I prefer to use official content. If you have something what you really want to play from UA or 3rd party i can have a look at it and decide then. We will start at level 2, people can create characters in advance but i will also offer to create them togather! Ability scores can be rolled if the whole party wants and agrees to, otherwise we go by standard array / point buy. (we would roll 4 6-sided dice and keep the highest three) We use the 2014 rules.

Homebrew rules

-Using an item like potions on yourself is a bonus action, using them on someone else is an action, if the item does not specify otherwise -Once you get to lvl 5, you may cast two spells in one turn (with your action and bonus action) as long as one is a 1st lvl spell. -There is no cap on fall damage -No setting specific feats or backgrounds (e.g. Dragonlance, Strixhaven etc) -I prefer to use official content. If you have something what you really want to play from UA or 3rd party i can have a look at it and decide then. -Ability scores can be rolled if the whole party wants and agrees to, otherwise we go by standard array / point buy. (we would roll 4 6-sided dice and keep the highest three) -Hit Points on Level Up: When you level up, you can either say "I'm taking the average" or roll your class hit die. If you roll, I will also roll, behind the screen. You can take either what you have rolled or the mystery DM roll. -Monsters, their abilities and stats can and will be altered so don't be surprised if common known enemies use new Technics.

How Xeronos creates a safe table

We will go over safety tools, consent, character creation and how the party will get together in Session 0. The direction of the game will adjust to the enjoyment of the players, meaning if a group loves combat more than rp, more combat might happen and vice versa. The game will shape itself to the things the group enjoys the most! I am always very open to constructive criticism, suggestions or general questions and talking.
