About the adventure
The City of Nashville has long been home to the City's Camarilla chancellery and they have guided it through the several decades of its growth and development. The 'Home of Country Music' has long been tended and nurtured by the Kindred to ensure fine art and science and all that it entails holds dear and true within the city. In the modern nights it is home to many varied forms of art and music, the Toreador majority within the city evident in its many music halls, bars, clubs, theaters, and more. With Nashville truly under their rule, the Prince looks on to the outlying areas pondering if the possibilities of growing their power is truly potential. Whisperings within the court share that the Prince looks eagerly for anyone with information, perhaps even to help expand the domain and reach of the Camarilla beyond its current borders. With all of the intrigues and politics at court it can be hard to determine what to truly believe. *********************** As a newcomer, you’ll dive deep into Nashville' underworld, carving out your place both above and below the surface. Will you team up with other gangs, or strike out on your own? Step into a thrilling Vampire: The Masquerade 5th Edition adventure where your storytelling and choices will shape the fate of your characters, the story, and the City itself.. This game will allow you to delve into the dark alleys, neon-lit streets, and underground of Nashville. Explore the politics of the Camarilla in the heart of the City's Elysium and beyond in this game of intrigue, poltics, and more. Delve into the depths of the Court and the individual Kindred throughout the City to see what you can uncover and what heights you can achieve. As a Neonate or Ancilla Vampire, you'll be either a new arrival or long term resident navigating the dangerous waters of the Second Inquisition, other organizations, and the primal urges within to survive and thrive in the City where your very existence is a danger to yourself and others of your kind if uncovered. Our game will take place on Discord, where you'll engage in out-of-character discussions, and we’ll use dedicated channels for in-game posts. We’ll utilize Roll20 for Character Sheets for character creation and tracking, Dice Rolles and Maps. Creating your character
**Character Creation Details:** All characters will start as Neonates—newly embraced vampires from 1940 to the present day—or Ancillas—Vampires born between 1780 and 1940. Available clans include: Toreador, Ventrue, Malkavian, Tremere, Lasombra, Salubri, Ministry, Nosferatu, Ravnos, Tzimisce and Banu Haqim. With Storyteller approval, characters from other games can be imported. Character creation occurs during Session 0. If joining after the campaign begins, your character must be created before your first session—ST assistance provided. Characters will adhere to the creation rules outlined in the VtM 5e Core Rulebook and the In Memoriam supplement. Characters will be created on Roll20 and all in-game rolls, maps, and handouts will be handled on the VTT.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You'll need: - A Discord account for in-game and out-of-game communication. - A Roll20 account for access to the VTT to participate in the game. - A Microphone/Webcam - Video is not required. Feel free to familiarize yourself with basic rules beforehand, though it's not mandatory. Players can provide visual representations for their characters if desired. Roleplaying in-character vernacular or accents is encouraged but not mandatory.
