About the adventure
Blood-Crossed Lovers is an original one-shot designed to ease people into the setting and game of Vampire: The Masquerade. You will play an Anarch coterie charged with finding information about a woman that the local Camarila Senechal has been spending a lot of time with. Perhaps she is her plaything, perhaps a lover. Perhaps she's human, perhaps she is something else. There's something of interest: there are no records of her anywhere.

About me
Hello there! I’m Simão, a Portuguese actor and professional Game Master. I have been playing TTRPGs since 2017, and I have led many projects and initiatives with the goal of opening up the hobby and community. I am very passionate about telling stories as a group. Creating your character
Character will be pre-generated, following the character creation rules of the Vampire: The Masquerade 5e Corebook. Before we start the session, I will run through the entire sheet to explain the mechanics of the game and what everything on the sheet means and how you should interpret it. Once everyone is comfortable they understand the rules, we will begin.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Accounts on Discord and Roll20 are necessary to play in this one-shot. The links to the Discord server and the Roll20 game will be sent out once the session is confirmed.
What Simão Vaz brings to the table
I will provide the characters and explain the whole sheet to you before we start playing. During play, you can expect ambient music and, when called for, reference images of the scene being played out. Each character will have their voice and accent, making it easier for players to know who is addressing them. I will also be providing images and artwork for said characters when available. All the images showed in my games are strictly non-AI made.

How Simão Vaz creates a safe table
The main safety tool that will be used during the session is the X card. We will be taking breaks and there will be a constant check-in when it comes to the level of violence used in descriptions. Before the session we will also talk about the limitations of some of the powers available to some characters, and whether it's okay for them to be used in a PvP scenario. Afterwards, outside of session timings, we will reserve as long as it’s needed for a debrief and discussion of Stars and Wishes.
