About the adventure
Come learn Daggerheart! This mini-module written by the creators of Daggerheart, Darrington Press, is the perfect introduction into this system. “Marlowe Fairwind, the right-hand sorcerer of King Emeris, has gathered her most trusted allies to carry an important package to Hush, a small village within the ancient forest of Sablewood. The crate is large, heavy and sealed with magic, addressed to the Whitefire Arcanist. You’ve been given a map and a carriage, and the promise of reward upon your arrival.” This module is easy to follow and is designed to lead beginner player's (and Game Masters) through the system.

About me
Welcome! I have been playing a range of TTRPGs for six years and absolutely love it! Mostly, I have played Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition, playing in a 2024 campaign and running a 2014 campaign. However, I originally started by playing Vampire: the Masquerade (5th Ed.) and am eager to start running the new Daggerheart system in the near future. I enjoy running games with a high level of role-playing and intertwining players' characters into the world/campaign. Alas, don't be fooled, I am also known for creating challenging combat and puzzles! New adventurers, don't be afraid! Heavy role-playing and challenging combats may sound daunting. However, for a long time, I was the only one of my friends who played TTRPGs, so teaching my friends and family has made me the Game Master I am today. I love this hobby, and I love nothing more than introducing new players to it! So whether you have never rolled dice or are a battle-hardened adventurer, I would love to have you at my table!

Creating your character
No need to overload yourself! This adventure comes with pre-made characters. As part of our introduction each player will have the opportunity to look at each character sheet and their abilities before we divvy up the characters and play.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
This game will be run via Google Meet and Foundry VTT. No setup required for players. All player's will receive a link for both Google Meet and to join the Foundry Session for battle maps and displays. These systems will be accessed via their chosen web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Edge etc.)
What Brady Jeffery brings to the table
This is an adventure aimed at introducing new players to the Daggerheart system. We will take it nice and slow, understanding the mechanics and systems together! I love doing voices and being silly in an attempt to create immersion and fun for my players. We will be using Foundry VTT to help visualise combats and scenes. We will stick quite close to Rules as Written to ensure we all get a good understanding of how the system works so you can go on to play in other Daggerheart games with confidence!

How Brady Jeffery creates a safe table
This will be a very light and easy session. However, I encourage open communication. If something is not right or is making you uncomfortable please let me know! Lines and Veils: I will verbalise these as we introduce the session. Player's will also have an opportunity to put forth their own boundaries. Stars and Wishes: At the end of the session I would love to have a discussion around what we thought went well and what can be improved upon.
