About the adventure

Something is wrong with the world. You’ve felt it. The hum under the static. The shadow behind the light. The quiet, persistent itch at the base of your skull that whispers: This isn’t how reality is supposed to be. Welcome to Delta Green, where you don’t just hunt monsters—you hunt the truth. By day, you’re a federal agent, a soldier, a scientist, a doctor, a cop. You live a normal life: family, career, the illusion of safety. But when the phone rings, when the encrypted message arrives, you’re called back into the secret war that never ended—a war against forces older than humanity and far beyond comprehension. The campaign begins with small disturbances: missing persons, inexplicable murders, strange artifacts unearthed in lonely places. Every case opens doors better left closed. Every clue draws you deeper into a labyrinth of madness and revelation. What starts as an investigation soon becomes a struggle for your sanity, your morality, and your very sense of self. Delta Green doesn’t fight for glory. There are no medals, no parades, no record of your service. You operate off the books, unsanctioned, unacknowledged. You lie to your loved ones, falsify reports, and erase the evidence when it’s over—if it ever really is. Because if the truth gets out, civilization won’t survive the knowing. In this campaign, players take on the roles of agents balancing their fragile human lives against the creeping rot of cosmic horror. You will confront cults that worship things that should not exist, conspiracies that span generations, and phenomena that defy science and sanity. Your victories will be fleeting. Your losses will linger. Every success comes at a cost—sometimes paid in blood, sometimes in the erosion of your own soul. But the reward? The fleeting satisfaction of knowing you’ve held the darkness back for one more night. That you’ve stood at the edge of the abyss and refused to blink. Delta Green is not a game of superheroes or grand destinies. It’s a game of agents, bound by duty, fear, and obsession. It’s about staring into the unknown and knowing it’s staring back. About the slow, suffocating realization that the world is infinitely more dangerous—and infinitely more wrong—than anyone dares to believe. Can you keep your cover intact while your sanity crumbles? Can you protect humanity from the horrors that lurk behind the veil—without becoming one of them? Investigate the inexplicable. Contain the uncontainable. Lie, kill, burn, and bury the evidence. Because the alternative is worse. (For 3–6 players. Psychological horror, investigative mystery, and covert operations against the unknowable. One scenario a week. Bring a sharp mind, a steady hand, and a strong stomach. You’ll need all three. More info: https://youtu.be/Albop3XB8-o?si=8ZxdscW32e2P75aq)

About me

I have been running games since I was ten years old and have always enjoyed stories of hijinks and high adventure as well as the occasional creepy crawl into the shadowy abyss. I enjoy a wide variety of games and love to have a table filled with laughter. I have experience running games for players between 7 years old and 87 years old, if you need an experience tailored to your specific age group or other demographic, I would be happy to work with you to get just the game you are looking for. You can learn more about me and some of my games at my website: caithegm.com

Character creation

Creating your character

Characters will be created in consultation with the Handler and the rest of the team during session zero using standard Delta Green rules.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

Please re-read the content warnings as those topics will appear in the campaign at one time or another and if any of them are a red-line for you, this campaign is probably not a good fit. No harassment, abuse, or debasement of other players will be permitted. Players who feel that causing emotional harm to their fellows is part of the fun will not be tolerated and will be ejected from the game. You will need either a PC or Mac-compatible PC with broadband internet access and electricity to play in this game; a mouse with left and right buttons, as well as a third button and mouse wheel is optimal for online use of Foundry VTT. You will need a Discord account to access the game chat. The Foundry VTT runs on a modern web browser, so there is nothing to install if you have a browser on your computer. If you have an older computer, you might consider using the Foundry Lightweight Client, which is a free lightweight web browser that gives you the most bang for your machine's capabilities. You can get it for free here: https://flc.ruleplaying.com/ If you intend to speak in the voice channel on Discord, you should have a headset with a microphone. *You will be required to set up a push-to-talk button*; you are, however, free to communicate to the group using text only in Discord, but you will then need speakers to hear their chat and the game sounds. Special text-only sessions are available for the deaf and hard of hearing. Don't hesitate to get in touch with me if you'd like to schedule one. Bringing a friend or two would help ensure we don't need to recruit additional players. While text-only is actually my preferred method of play, it does seem difficult to organize those games. Instructions for setting up the push-to-talk button and installing all the needed software are available on my Discord channel (#getting-started), to which you will be supplied a link when you join. Players do not need to have any knowledge of the rules or setting, the format of the campaign gives you ample time to learn as you go.

What Cai the GM brings to the table

I provide the ruleset and adventures we’ll be using plus an extensive knowledge of the the game setting and rule. I pay for all the licenses for the software used in the campaign, so you wont have any additional costs besides the session fees. Foundry runs on any modern web-browser. You only need to bring yourself and a willingness to have an awesome time.

Safety

How Cai the GM creates a safe table

We will use a Yellow Card, Red Card safety system, but if you can make it through an episode of Stranger Things, you are unlikely to find anything too shocking here, but just in case, please double check the Content Warnings to make sure none of those topics are red lines for you.
