About the adventure
Welcome! This is the Quickstart Adventure created to learn to play Daggerheart. The Sablewood Messengers. Choose a premade character and begin the adventure of one of the messengers sent by Marlowe Fairwind to deliver a large crate, heavy and sealed with magic, addressed to the Whitefire Arcanist. You’ve been given a map and a carriage, and the promise of reward upon your arrival. This will be my first foray into the Daggerheart system, which I'm very excited to learn. So fellow newcomers to the system are encouraged to join, but experienced players are, of course, welcome eagerly as well! This will be a Play-by-Post adventure, which allows for a much less schedule stressed playstyle, due to it being play by text asynchronously.

About me
I have been playing ttrpgs since high school (way back in the 1900's), and have been GMing for just as long. My experience is primarily in-person, theatre of the mind style play, but I have been slowly trying to expand my experience and comfort into online gaming. I love to tell a good story with other people, and especially love having to react and respond to the choices and actions of my players. Most of my experience in running games is self-created adventures and ideas, not so much module adventures. I love running games, and hope I can provide a safe space for all types of players to enjoy themselves and express their creativity.

This Quickstart Adventure comes with premade characters, but if someone doesn't like the options and would like to create their own character, we can discuss that using Demiplane.

How Tim creates a safe table
We will discuss via discord before the adventure begins to establish any boundaries players may have. The PBP format allows for pacing that can accommodate any issues that arise much easier than in the faster-paced environment of a live session. And again, I will be available via DM on discord at basically any time to make sure everyone is feels safe, comfortable, and included. The ultimate goal is to have fun and experience this adventure together!
