About the adventure
A Long Time Ago, In A Galaxy Far, Far Away… After a year of fighting, the fires of the Clone Wars spread across the galaxy. General Grievous launches the largest Separatist offensive since the start of the war, Operation Durge’s Lance. Thousands of Republic worlds are caught in the crosshair. Planet after planet, battle by battle lost to the seemingly unstable march of the Droid Army. On one such world in the Expansion Region, a world known as Duriska has entered into a local civil war. The rebels have called on the Droid Army to aid them in overthrowing the current ruling Monarch, King Pyatar. General Shezade Halrin of the CIS Army leads the assault on the monarchists. The King, in turn, calls on the Grand Army of the Republic to defend his world from Separatist invasion. The 177th Defender Corp has been ordered by Supreme Chancellor Palpatine to liberate Duriska. Along with Monarchist forces, fathers, sons, mothers, daughters, sisters, and brothers of Duriska and the Republic will be faced with one of the bloodiest battles in the Clone Wars. You have been assigned to serve in or alongside the 138th Armoured Battalion. Whether a clone soldier on foot, a pilot of one of the Republic’s walkers or speeder tanks, an LAAR Pilot, a mercenary for the Duriska crown, a local soldier, Republic volunteer, or diplomatic corp member, you unite together for victory or destruction. The fate of millions of lives rest in your hands. From the rain and mud to frigid winter, and from snowmelt to scorching summers you must fight for the Republic!

About me
Hello There! You can call me many different things! Gallant, Commander Hellreaper, Morgan LePenguin, Jadyn, and more! I have been GMing for the past 5 years running multiple Campaigns! Namely, I am running a Star Wars Alternate Universe using the Star Wars RPG by Fantasy Flight Games/Edge Studios. I own all three Core Rulebooks and all of the Sourcebooks. I run my games on Foundry VTT, using a Discord Server to talk with players. I have Wednesday through Sunday available for running games. When I run my games, I run them with the themes of the universe in question. Trying to create an experience being both unique while still being true to the feeling of the system/universe. I enjoy allowing my players to shape the Campaigns with their decisions. Allowing the players free will (but certainly not free from consequences!). Being open to discussion to find compromise whenever issues arrive. I like to give my games a feeling of being lived in. Using Worldbuilding to make the world feel real. Giving each NPC their own personalities. I like to use skills I've learned in writing fiction to help players feel connected to the game world. I hope you consider me for your games! Creating your character
We will be using material from all three core rule books for this system and all supplement books. We will meet in VC in our lovely Discord Server where you will be provided a link to the Foundry VTT Server. We are using Forge VTT to host Foundry. For those who have not used either system before, you will have to create an account for Forge but the host must create a separate Foundry account for you. So you should provide a password for your user. The Foundry user will have no personal information and is only there for you to access Foundry and your character sheets and the password can be as simple or complicated as you want. The password is to prevent other players from accessing your character sheets by accident.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
All you need is a mic for Discord VC and a device capable of accessing Foundry (a laptop or desktop computer). Otherwise, we have everything you will need to play the game.

How Gallant Ascent creates a safe table
We will hold a free session 0 to ensure all players are heard and are able to express their needs and concerns. Likewise, after the game has begun, we offer players the ability to interrupt a session to express discomfort at a certain subject and we also have player resources councillor ready to help you with any of your needs should the GM be unavailable.
