About the adventure
BEGINNER/FIRST TIME PLAYER FRIENDLY!! For fans of dark romance, melodrama, and vampires! ****Navigate, survive, and thrive in the fragile and intense social dynamics of upper-class Kindred society. ****Pursue your heart’s desires, whether that be in finding love, fulfilling your ambitions, or satisfying motives known only to you. ****Engage in a lot of roleplaying, sanctioned and un-sanctioned duels, and a ton of working with and against each other! ABOUT: It has been months since the Vermilion Wedding, the union between Victoria Ash of the Camarilla Toreador and Tegyrius of the independent Banu Haqim. While many Kindred believe this to be no more than an act of political unity to welcome the Banu Haqim into the Camarilla, the grand wedding itself has stirred long dead feelings of love and desire in other Kindred. Maybe this is the reason why the cruel Prince of Chicago has decided to spare the Hecata in her city instead of culling them and their human Kine like she would have in the past. And perhaps that is the reason why she has decided to let their lone Kine, Blake Samedi, choose who has her heart and who will turn her in the Embrace. Taking place at the Adler Planetarium, an Elysium, all courtiers will have a maximum of two weeks to win Blake's hand. Or maybe accomplish another goal unknown to those in attendance. Chronicle Tenets: 1) Your desires should be prioritized 2) Connection should be the ultimate goal, whether that's connection to others or a better connection with yourself 3) No fighting unless ordained by the Court

About me
Hi! My name is Noah, Micah, and NoahMicah, you can choose whatever to call me. My pronouns are he/him/his and they/them/theirs and I am half Filipino. I have been GM-ing since 2020, beginning with a way too ambitious homebrewed D&D 5e original story that I still hold dear in my heart. I am an aspiring writer and, as such, I prioritize storytelling and making sure I incorporate as much of my players’ wants and desires for their characters as much as possible. The aspect of communal storytelling is what I love the most about GM-ing TTRPGs. This also includes making sure I make everyone feel comfortable and welcome, be that in ensuring boundaries are respected to incorporating players’ experiences and cultures in the story. I am very proud of my Filipino culture and include that in as many games as possible, so I extend that to my players too. I want to make sure everyone feels heard and has a ton of fun at the same time! Genres I tend to gravitate towards are horror, fantasy, science fiction, and modern/slice of life. Often, I blend one or two or three of these together. If you are looking for deep worldbuilding and a table where your voice is heard and listened to, come on in! I hold all my games on Discord and will provide you with a link when you sign up. I look forward to getting to know you!

Creating your character
You should use the base rule book for creating your character. Pages 136 and 152 should be particularly useful, as well as obviously the sections on different vampire clans. If none of the base rule book clans speak to you, I recommend the following supplemental books: The Masquerade Companion, Cults of the Blood Gods, Camarilla, and Anarch. Your character should be 14th or 15th generation. If you seriously want to play a Thin Blood or Caitiff, we will talk about it in session 0 as these choices will have some effect on the campaign. For stats, follow the rule book, or wait until session 0 for filling that out if you need help. What to expect
Preparing for the session
You will need a Discord account in order to play. You will also need a microphone, and headphones if possible. Other than that, you don't need to download anything else. Maybe find a site for online dice if you do not have a lot of d10s. The Storypath system requires quite a lot of them.
What Noah Micah brings to the table
In all of my games, I focus first and foremost on roleplaying. This is especially true for this campaign as the main focus in this is social interaction. This is to the point that one of tenets/rules for this campaign that no fighting is allowed unless ordained by the court. However, if you can come up with creative ways to get away with violence, I more than welcome it. Just know that I like to make combat hard to encourage player creativity and cooperation/idea sharing between players. I also just think it's more rewarding that way.

How Noah Micah creates a safe table
I will discuss possible triggering things that will happen in this campaign during session 0. I will also send all players a link to a Lines and Veils document of things that may come up that you can answer you do not want included in the campaign or you are fine with allusions to in the campaign. During the game, if something comes up that I did not account for in the document, please say or type "line" or "veil" and I will adjust accordingly. After every session there will also be time to unwind and talk about how we feel, along with a break during every session. NOTE: Sexual assault will NEVER be included in my games, and I do not tolerate players that try to include that. I also do not allow homophobia, transphobia, sexism, racism, or any other hateful behavior at my table.
