About me

Hello, I'm Madeline. I'm your resident geek that loves all things Tabletop. I love Board games and Tabletop Role Playing Games. I have kind of a chipper kind of personality, but I can also be a little Quiet sometimes. But don't worry. I'm all about talking when I DM. I love to show and not just tell what's going on in the environment around my player's characters. I do this by describing more than just the basics. Instead of saying "You walk into a Tavern", I'd say, "As you walk into the broken hull of the ship known as the Rusty Spoon, The smell of pipe Tobacco and a hearty stew hit your nostrils. You hear the crowded sounds of patrons ordering drinks, playing cards, and having arm wrestling contests. As Waitresses dart about the place, you make your way to the bar at the back. A lone bar keep with a pipe in his mouth and a wink in his eye welcomes you, 'How's it going Stranger? What can I get for you?' " I enjoy helping them feel scared and excited when their characters feel that way. Anyway, that's all for now. I hope to see you in a game soon. Bye!

Character creation

Creating your character

Basically just follow the directions in the pdf's. For those that are just joining, we're using the special Naruto 5e system that is based on the Naruto Universe. There are books associated with the system that you'll need to make your character and play. I'll send you a link to thier discord where you can find the books and everything when you join.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

Familiarise yourself with Foundry, join my discord server, read the Shinobi handbook, and work out a time with me to create your character. We'll have a free session 0 to go over some logistics, but making characters takes a little while.

What Madeline Wonder brings to the table

I use foundry (you won't have to pay for it) to set an ambience with pictures and sounds. I don't do very many voices, but I try. I use Theater of the Mind, so there will be no maps.

Homebrew rules

You can use the Team 7 homebrew rules, but anything else will have to be approved.

Safety

How Madeline Wonder creates a safe table

I have an open door policy, so don't be afraid to come to me with any issues that you have. I'll have a list of lines and veils in a document for all of my players to fill out and I'll compile them all into one list for everyone to view, so no one knows who set a line at what. I also use X, N, O alerts, so if anyone messages me or the group an X or N we will stop play or wrap it up quickly. I also like to do stars and wishes, so I can improve as a GM.
