About the adventure

In the Night of the Missing Moment, eerie portals flickered into existence across Golarion. Thousands were drawn into those gates—some willingly, many not—and for months, they vanished from the world. When they returned, those survivors bore strange marks, uncanny powers, and no memory of where they had gone. Those individuals became known as gatewalkers, and their shared amnesia is at the root of a cosmic puzzle. Your journey begins in Sevenarches, a land of ancient forests and elven ruins. There, under the direction of your mentor and friend, Dr. Ritalson, the party begins investigating local disturbances—druids, fey, portals, and rumors of a bogeyman behind the scenes. Clues lead outward from the region, but with each revelation, the loss of memory and the presence of deviant power deepen the mystery of how far the Missing Moment reaches. Through it all, Gatewalkers weaves together paranormal intrigue, cosmic horror, and identity crisis—a tale where every memory lost is a clue, and every gate walked through might be a step toward salvation… or oblivion. Perfect for new and veteran pathfinder 2e players. This adventure will proved ample opportunity for combat and roleplaying as you uncover the truths behind the missing moment.

About me

I have been playing RPGs for over 30 years and have GMed games for 25 of those years. I like to run character centric games with an even balance of combat. I started in AD&D and eventually moved into the Pathfinder RPG. I have played the Pathfinder roleplay game since its first edition came out in 2009 and was involved in the second edition play test. Gaming is for everyone and should be a fun experience for all!

Character creation

Creating your character

We will meet in a session 0 (or a stand alone) session to officially make characters. we will be using the standard PF2e Character creation rules. That being said all characters will be required to take a background form the Gatewalker's players guide (https://downloads.paizo.com/Gatewalkers_PlayersGuideRemaster.pdf) That gives each character a deviant ability ties them to the initial investigation of the Gatewalkers Adventure.

The current party

The current party is a Cleric, Fighter, Guardian, and an Animist.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

I run voice through my discord channel that you will need to join. I will send an invite once you have joined. The Game is on a Foundry server that i host in an oracle cloud server. I will links and usernames and passwords once you have joined the discord. It is highly recomend having an account with pathbuilder to build your character in but it is not required.

What Jared brings to the table

This campaign will be run on Foundry VTT, using premium Paizo modules and official Pathfinder Second Edition tools. The Gatewalkers Adventure Path is a journey through mystery, memory, and the unknown—expect immersive ambient soundscapes and thematic music to set the tone for every strange discovery. The PF2e system on Foundry is highly automated—dice rolls, attacks, and spell effects are handled smoothly. I’ll gladly teach new players how to navigate it, and I use animated spell and attack effects where possible to make every encounter come alive. I encourage creative problem-solving—your clever ideas are what make the story memorable. While we’ll follow RAW most of the time, inspired moments of brilliance deserve to shine. The same goes for your foes, though; monsters, rivals, and forces beyond reason will act intelligently and dangerously. Failure, loss, and triumph all feed the larger story we create together. I’ve been running tabletop games for over 25 years, and I focus on story-driven experiences filled with character growth, tension, and discovery. In Gatewalkers, not every problem can be solved with a blade or a spell—sometimes the mystery runs deeper, the cost heavier, and the truth stranger than you imagine. This is a campaign about lost memories, eldritch beings, paranormal phenomena, and the search for identity. While the adventure may span continents and planes, the heart of the story lies in how your characters face the unknown—together.
