Creating your character

-We will all create our characters on Session #0 (If you join later, we will build your character before the next session), and have time after that to adjust and fine tune the characters, once again we will be using a PDF sheet to keep track of our character with using D&DBeyond as a tool to help us make said character. 🐉 -This campaign will have a unique feature, you will have two character sheets! one which you will be able to use during your stay within The Material Plain of Slurul, and your second sheet will be using during your travels through The Feywild! We will go over the details and why these two separate sheets are a thing! -STARTING LEVEL: Your sheet for The Material Plain will start at level 1, and your Feywild sheet will start at level 3! 🪄 -Races: There is absolutely no limitations as far as races and creatures go in my games, as long as it's discussed before hand! 🧝 -Alignment: I am perfectly fine with any alignment, my only request is don't make a murder hobo out of it if you decide to take under something more nefarious and evil. 🔪 -Starting Equipment: You will have standard starting equipment, it can be as flexible as you want depending on your character as long as it makes sense, you will also be given 1 magical item (Rare quality or lower, really depends to chance and circumstance) before you enter the game. 🪙

Preparing for the session

-It is highly advised the players have these things before joining this game: -A discord account (This is where we will be chatting and goofing off in and out of gametime!) 🖥️ -A working microphone (This will be how you talk, as long as the mic actually works decent there should be no issue) 🎤 -A little bit of patience, and a great imagination! (This is only my second game hosted and it's a modern day campaign so a lot is being poured into this story, so sometimes I might just forget things, and imagination and a story involving scheming faeries is a match made in heaven, so if both are present it would be a blessing for me!) 🧠 There are a few other optional things you as a player can have, but are not required: - A camera (Depends if we are feeling like a video chat while the table is active, sometimes I turn on my camera! depends how pretty I am feeling!) 📷 -A D&DBeyond account (Can help you immensely with character creation if you need help in creating a character! is free to setup!) 🎲 - D&D knowledge for when Serenity just blanks (Sometimes I get stuck, so the more I learn the more fluent and less stuck I get, so if you have any tips or if you can at any point offer a little nudge, it would be greatly appreciated!) 📒 -Any semblance of Nintendo knowledge (I feed off of this stuff, and seeing a fellow geek is always nice) 👉👈

What Serenity The Light One brings to the table

-Character sheets will be filled via PDF, though alright with using D&DBeyond as a tool to help the players and myself in the character creation process. 🐉 -The game will be played primarily on Owlbear Rodeo where I will provide maps, tokens, and music to make an immersive and unforgettable experience. 🗺️ -The moments of peace will be tranquil, the moments of combat can be tense, the words some people say can pull you at the strings, and the world will be ripe to explore. -While I don't have a lot of stuff as far as books go (Obojima here was one of the first I have read), Rules in this game will be pretty loose and flexible, there are a couple of exceptions but most part I look forward to is seeing the creative and clever ways you players can interact with the world! 💡(SESSION #0 / SESSION #1 & #2 WILL BE FREE!)

How Serenity The Light One creates a safe table

-10 - 20 Minute breaks will be issued halfway through each session , although it is allowed for players to get up and go get fresh air or take a couple of minutes away from the game if need be (In short, Open Door ruling). ☕ -When Session 0 happens not only will the players get a hand in creating the character they want to play, I will be passing out the consent checklist to make sure topics that people don't want to touch in this campaign are known, while also explaining the function of the X, N, O cards which will be available for use on our discord server in the case that a topic arises that someone is uncomfortable with. 🛑 -Outside of session I am gonna try my best to answer questions and concerns for my players even when session is not happening and provide the help they would need. 👍
