About the adventure
A small campaign to learn the Utopia system. Beginner friendly and accepting advanced as reserves. Delve in to a mysterious train ride landing you in the hands of questionable figures. Learn how to combat your foes, how to roleplay and make tests in situations outside of combat! The theme is a western train, where you encounter Npcs from different walks of life. You are a untimely party that where on your way to Jacksonville. Seeing the desert sea float by you outside of the train. There have been rumors of certain political individuals on the train. You may explore it, talk to a few people but after a while, something mysterious happens. You are somehow in the center of the Mystery, will you solve it or leave it alone? Will you side with the Politicians or the Rebels. Maybe walk your own path!

About me
Hello, I have a decade worth of almost weekly DnD5e experience where I begun as a player and then for 7 years GM almost every week and a lot of times twice a week. I have been doing a lot of GMing for a game called Utopia TTRPG (Which don't exist here yet, I would love to run it) and I have hosted more then 50 sessions in a westmarch since December (more outside of it) that I am also a part of running and developing lore for both the ttrpg and the westmarch.

Creating your character
To learn the game and get an introduction as well as get the Downloaded pdf you can look in https://myramyth.com/utopia. Where under downloads you find the free pdf. Remember there is an errata in the bottom of the book! For characters we will use https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1KzFhQwE818vJ9be5WWhbN3VHxHl14b99U0azzWbyEuI/edit?usp=drive_link which you can create a copy of and use either a custom species that is already in it or normal species!
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Get a discord account if they don't have one. Server gets out later or use the Startplaying server. Then you just need to read a little bit about Utopia and look at character creation. I refer to the character creation part of this post.
What The Elf Mage brings to the table
I will bring ambient music, special voices for NPCs. I play by the rule of cool but like to follow the system as much as we can while having fun. I want to encourage creativity and problem solving, deep roleplay when possible and challenging combat. Sometimes tactics needed and sometimes you just get a simple encounter!

How The Elf Mage creates a safe table
I do not tolerate bigotry, non consensual pvp or romantic actions. I do not allow sexual stuff at my tables beyond fun innuendos. I will reserve the right to time someone out if they are activly making my players feel bad on purpose and or kick them from the campaign if it gets to much. When it comes to the sessions I will check in with my players on how they feel, I keep a add on that they can send and anonymous warning if there is something crossing the line. Then also ask them to use 2 stars and a wish system after the session is done.
