This means: Lines: topics or content that are completely off-limits and will not appear in the story. Veils: content that can exist in the world, but will only be mentioned lightly or “off-screen,” never described in detail. This conversation will help set clear boundaries so that the game always feels safe, comfortable, and enjoyable for you. ✨ The X-Card System During play, we’ll also use the X-Card, a simple tool to make sure you always feel in control of the experience. If something comes up that makes you uncomfortable, you can “tap the X-Card” by simply writing X in chat. I’ll immediately adjust the scene, skip over the content, or reframe it—no questions asked.
