About the adventure
π Explore the legendary world of Exandria in a cinematic D&D 5e campaign inspired by Critical Role. The lands of Exandria are vast, ancient, and scarred by gods, wars, and heroes long gone. From the Republic of Tal'Dorei to the ambitions of the Dwendalian Empire, old powers are moving again. Forgotten magic stirs. Factions scheme. Kingdoms prepare for conflict. You are not legendary yet. You are not chosen. But your choices matter. Will you protect the realm, chase power, uncover ancient secrets, or survive the politics of empires and factions? This is a player-driven campaign with no fixed path. The world reacts to your decisions, your allies remember what you do, and your enemies adapt. What to expect: πΊοΈ Exploration across Tal'Dorei, Wildemount, Marquet, Issylra, and beyond π Deep roleplay with memorable NPCs and faction politics βοΈ Tactical combat with cinematic encounters π Long-term mysteries, ancient lore, and moral dilemmas β¨ Real choices with lasting consequences π± Beginner-friendly support and character creation help

Whether you're an experienced roleplayer or completely new to tabletop RPGs, my goal is simple: β¨ Create unforgettable adventures in worlds that react to your choices.

Creating your character
Character creation is handled together before you join the campaign. Official D&D 5e content is welcome, and homebrew can be discussed if it fits the tone, balance, and clarity of the adventure. I will help you build a character that feels powerful, personal, and naturally connected to Exandria. Starting level, equipment, gold, and magic items are decided before play, based on the current party and campaign direction. Creative concepts are welcome. Strange, ambitious, subtle, heroic, dangerous, or unconventional ideas can all work if they fit the table.

What Manu brings to the table
π Character Voices NPCs are played with distinct voices, mannerisms, and personalities. A noble, soldier, merchant, scholar, criminal, or monster should feel different at the table. π΅ Music and Atmosphere Ambient music and soundscapes support the mood of each scene. Cities feel alive, ruins feel tense, and battles feel cinematic. πΊοΈ Maps, Tokens, and Visual Aids I use maps, tokens, handouts, and images when they add value. Important locations, tactical spaces, objects, and NPCs are supported visually. βοΈ Cinematic Encounters Combat is designed to be more than enemies standing in a room. Expect terrain, objectives, hazards, boss mechanics, and choices that reward teamwork. π Living World The campaign adapts to the party. Your decisions can change relationships, factions, future adventures, and the direction of the story. βοΈ Flexible Rules Rules are used as a framework. I generally respect RAW, but creative ideas and good roleplay can be rewarded when they improve the scene.

How Manu creates a safe table
Session Zero Before play, we discuss expectations, character concepts, tone, boundaries, and what kind of experience the group wants. Lines & Veils Sensitive topics are handled carefully. Players can set clear limits on what should be avoided or kept off-screen. X-Card / Open Door If something feels uncomfortable, we pause, adjust, or move on. No explanation is required. Breaks We can take breaks when needed. Check-Ins I check in with players to make sure the campaign is still fun, comfortable, and aligned with expectations. Debriefing At the end of sessions, we can take a few minutes for feedback, questions, and adjustments.
