About the adventure

Can you build your own realm? A local kingdom has tasked you with cleaning an area of the notorious Greenbelt of monsters and bandits so that a nation of refugees from hell can farm and be free. In doing so, they will need leadership and protection. If you succeed, you will be the ruler of your own kingdom and your name will echo throughout history! Join us for this legendary Pathfinder AP, now updated for Pathfinder 2E and the Remaster.

About me

GM since 1980, I run games you haven't heard of. Indie and non-Hasbro games are my gig! I wrote 'How Humakt Learned to Grieve' for the Jonstown Compendium. I run Star Wars, RuneQuest and other non-Hasbro games. I use safety tools such as lines and veils, X-card, brief and debrief, bleed management tools and others. My table is an explicitly safe BIPOC/ND/Queer/Trans/LGBTIA+ space as I am queer and nuerodivergent myself.

Character creation

Creating your character

1st level characters will be created as per the Pathfinder 2E Player Core and Player Core 2E. Any published Paizo works are normally allowed. Players should also check out the Kingmaker 2E Player's Guide at Paizo.com. Pre gens are also available! The 1st session is free.

The current party

The initial party will be 1st level PF 2E remastered characters. We will be using Free Archetype, Paragon Ancestry and Gradual Ability Boost. All Common ancestries and other options are allowed, and you can discuss witgh me anything unique! Options for lore elements from other game worlds (Forgotten Realms, Greyhawk and Glorantha) will also be available.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

Character creation will be handled during session zero on the Roll20 platform. Players can use popular character generator platforms like Herolab or Pathbuilder to prep in advance. During Session 0, we will be discussing things like expectations, safety tools and so on

What Chris brings to the table

This game will be ran on Roll 20, using the Kingmaker 2E package provided for sale by the platform. Standard roll20 functionality is provided. As a GM, I am a rule of cool guy, but I will also strive to keep to Spirit of the Rules, start with Rules As Written.

Homebrew rules

Some elements of the GM's homebrew Golarion setting, such as the Unbound (Tiefling escapees from the Nine Hells) will be explored.
