About me

Hobbits and dragons are forever entwined in my imagination—tighter than Elven chainmail. Games like EverQuest and FirstQuest sparked my love for roleplaying, showing me that storytelling could be so much more than rolling dice and letting the computer do the math. These fantasy worlds taught me not to judge by appearances; even a grimy goblin might offer riddles that lead to powerful treasures—if you’re willing to listen. I spent much of my youth in the basement of a local hobby and gaming store, where I discovered that games could unite people from all walks of life. The stories we told were often fantastical, but the friendships and shared memories were deeply real—bonds that have stood the test of time. That passion led me into live-action roleplay, where I cast, wrote, and played in genres ranging from Vampire to Sci-fi. Over a decade ago, as in-person meetups became harder, I embraced online communities like Roll20.net and later Discord. These platforms made roleplaying more accessible and gave me firsthand experience with internet culture, humor, and the evolving expectations of how games should be run. Now, I’m excited to roll dice with this community, share stories, and forge new connections. Let’s make some unforgettable memories—one adventure at a time.

Character creation

Creating your character

I will provide Pre made characters that can be customized to taste with ease. If you want to Roll dice we can get that done during session zero Or standard array if you would like to play with your own creation. I am more then happy to help at any step of the way!

What to expect

Preparing for the session

At most you will need an account on Roll20.net, an Open mind and adventurous attitude! I should be able to handle the rest no sweat.

What The Teal brings to the table

I will do my best giving voices to different non-player characters and the pronunciation of complex elvish names. I have collected many VTT maps and tokens over the years and I plan on sharing up to date rules and content with compendium support on Roll20.net. I do not like adding homebrew rules to a game as it tends to throw off balance of the game mechanics but if the whole party wants a supplement or addon I will do my best to add it to the adventure.

Homebrew rules

Effort is rewarded in my games so a short back story or roleplaying during the session are not needed but will be rewarded. I will be as Rules as Written with this game just on core mechanics and much more Rules of Cool when the story needs to be kept on pace.
