About the adventure
Arcanum Resistance sees the players facing off with police and troops in a dystopian world of industry. Everything is the same until the first atomic bombs. While it struck fear into the USSR, it also made the allies very wary of the USA. While it didn’t have any different side effects to the real world at first, talk of the supernatural began to pop up all over the world. It seemed that openings to the plane of the supernatural from the physical world had been opened, with the supernatural flooding into the mortal plane. Many countries stood together and reacted differently to the sudden influence of the supernatural. The USA, having few allies after the dropping of the bombs, fractured. Now, in the “modern day”, the local region is a police state controlled by The Ruler. A tyrant that rules inside the city capital and port of Irontrust. Oppressing the masses and sowing false information. “Inhumans” as those with powers are called, are taken away and never seen again. Unrest is growing, and you have the matches to ignite the flame. Play a character infused with holy, mystic, or chaotic magic, a hacker, acrobat, or charismatic extraordinaire, or just a normal person pushed to do the impossible. Think Infamous and Cyberpunk meets and fights Hunger games high society. But powers grow over time and so does the resistance movement. I have played table top games most of my life and have enjoyed putting new rules to classics, a habit I still have. I started TTRPG's in high school playing D&D 5e and have broadened my horizons with a number of other games.

Players will be sent a discord link and we will make your character before and during the free session 0. Feel free to talk with other players. We will start with base rules plus add in a few benefits for your character and talk about the resistance.
