About me
Some dragons hoard gold. Others hoard gemstones. While I never will turn down such hoards, I hoard stories - a hoard that grows with each passing day. As a long-term roleplay writer, I enjoy creating new stories and curating prewritten ones to fit the tone or purpose of my stories, parties, and games. I have been type-roleplaying for many years, being part of the forum roleplay groups back in the age of Gaia Online and other similar groups. Since then, I have been writing posts that expressed the inner workings, the active actions, and the pointed conversations of hundreds of complex characters. This is only amplified when compiling them together to form a story that is reactive and interactable from a group seeking the next dawn. I have a corgi familiar named Fenrir who often enjoys giving me the Help action and is a mini-celebrity amongst my players, often having a related npc or party pet that represents Fenrir and his antics. I value narrative context and will do my best to fit the mechanics to the narrative you want. This has led me to curating and crafting custom content - often referred to as homebrew - for several games, players, and even other game masters. I do my best to not include AI generated imagery in my live games, choosing to not use such images for advertisement and actively replacing any edge/unknown cases with commissioned pieces, and often support growing artists in my communities. I also do not use AI in any of my play-by-post messages. This provides a raw experience to my creative inspirations.

Creating your character
Characters Creation will occur during session 0 to promote group cohesion and to allow everyone to review the content allowed for the game. We will be using the updated D&D 5e 2024 ruleset for the baseline and there may be homebrew additions that will be discussed in session 0 added on. If you are joining a game mid-campaign, please view the party notes listed below this section for more details related to your specific campaign. Session 0 is Manditory and Paid for all players.

Homebrew rules
As a Homebrew Curator, I hold plenty of customized content to ensure this game is exactly what players want from it. In that regard, during session 0 a discussion for Homebrew content will be held to talk about potential add-ons for the game. However to give some published content sources that may be featured in this game: - Heliana's Guide to Monster Hunting - Steinhardt's Guide to the Eldritch Hunt - Erevan's Guide to Death and Beyond - Floral Guide to Dragons - Itza's Guide to Dragonbonding - Elyse's Guide to Magic - Surviving Strangehollow - Kingdom of Keshanar ... and more! In the case that a homebrew source or table rule is no longer building towards fun, we will review the addition at that time. For those joining midcampaign, homebrew content that is currently allowed will be presented during your mandatory Session 0. If you do not see something that you want for your story, as a creator I am more than happy to come up with a balanced option to add to the game. Simply let me know in your Session 0 or anytime after your 6th session in the game!

How Onyx (Megan) creates a safe table
Safety is not a one and done conversation but an open question Upon joining the game, you will be prompted in a private channel for details regarding any problematic subjects that you do not want to see in the game. These are often categorized as Lines, Veils, and Triggers, but if you are uncertain what your concerns are considered there is no issue. I just want to allow the game to be as fun as possible for everyone involved. During Session 0, I will announce any private Lines, Veils, or Triggers that have been given to me in a general sense to alert the party of those details. These will then be listed in a document both on the discord and the roll20. I will remind folks to reference the document once a month or when someone new joins, even if there are no new add-ons. There will be safety tools provided in my server and roll20 to be used by players at their discretion. If you are joining midcampaign, Session 0 will cover the same details and have your own added to the list like for everyone else.
