About the adventure
Baldur’s Gate teeters on the brink of corruption and war, its streets crawling with crime and political intrigue. But the true danger lies beyond the mortal world—dragging you into Avernus, the first layer of Hell itself. Here, infernal war machines roar across blasted wastelands, archdevils plot eternal conquest, and every choice risks binding your soul to damnation. This campaign blends gritty urban intrigue with the high-stakes chaos of a hellbound road trip. Expect a balance of roleplay, exploration, and explosive combat, alongside moral dilemmas where bargains can be as deadly as blades. Whether your party seeks redemption, power, or survival, the Nine Hells will test your limits—and leave its mark forever.

About me
Hey! I've been a DM for about 8 years now. I'm also working on going into voice acting as a job, so I've got the role play aspect of the game down. I've run a few pre-written campaigns, and a few homebrews, and I love both! My main goal is to make sure everyone has fun!
View Profile →Character creation
Creating your character
Players will start at level 1, so come to me with at least a vague idea of the character you'd like to play. During session 0, we can finalize character creation and discuss any connections. If you want your character's backstory to play a significant role in the campaign, I'd suggest you build a character with connections to the Forgotten Realms setting or the Nine Hells. If not, no problem, but it will be more difficult to fit your backstory in.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players will at least need a mic, webcam is preferred. A basic understanding of 5e rules is suggested. Access to Discord and Roll20 are required. Either physical or digital dice are fine.
What Ericson brings to the table
Using Roll20 for battle maps and backdrops, I also encourage players to create a digital character sheet using Roll20's system or DNDBeyond. I will provide any written resources needed, such as handbooks, maps, and handouts.

How Ericson creates a safe table
I will be sending out an RPG consent checklist before session 0. Players should expect high stakes, dangerous environments, and supernatural horror atmosphere. Decent amount of combat, with lots of social encounters.
