About the adventure
This campaign takes place in the downfall timeline, after the Hero has been defeated. The Players will take on the role of the "Knights of Hyrule" heroes who must aid the Seven Sages in sealing the Dark World in the events that will later be known as "The Imprisoning War" from the history described in the game The Legend of Zelda, A Link to the Past. We'll be using player options from the fan made supplement Paths of Hyrule to include various playable ancestries from the Zelda universe lore, and additional items and consumables from the game series. The campaign will focus on adventuring into the Dark World, overcoming seven dangerous dungeons, fighting monsters from the Zelda universe, and eventually helping the Seven Sages complete their ritual to seal away The Demon King Ganon and the Dark World "forever."

Meet the Game Master
About me
I am an experienced Game Master, and amateur Vtuber. I have experience in a dozen systems, and am interested in running games both streamed and private. I have just finished a multi-year experiment in which I ran more than half a dozen D&D 5e campaigns in a shared world with many crossovers and some special events. It was a very amazing experience, and the created a rich homebrew setting to play in. However, I am moving away from D&D 5th edition in favor of other systems. My imagination is currently captivated by OSR style games, with a focus on using the Old School Essentials system, and the Worlds Without Number system. I am also a huge fan of GURPS, Dungeon Crawl Classics, Dungeon World, Fate, and enjoy Savage Worlds, Edge of the Empire, Legends of the Five Rings, and a variety of other PbtA systems as well, and am looking to try Pathfinder 2e more, and more ORS style systems.

Creating your character
Player Characters will be created together during Session 0, using material from the fan supplement Paths of Hyrule which adds content based on the Legend of Zelda franchise to Pathfinder 2e. Players will be able to make characters who are Hylians, Goron, Zora, Kikori, or Gerudo, along with maybe some rarer ancestries such as a fairy or a deku scrub! The Paths of Hyrule pdf is unofficial fan content and can be found online for free. PCs will start at level 1, and will be created within Foundry, using the Paths of Hyrule module for Foundry.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players will need a free Discord account, and access to a Foundry compatible browser. After you join the campaign, I will provide you a link to join my private Discord server where all my games are hosted.
What Kaybe Angel brings to the table
In this campaign you can expect tactical combat and dungeon exploration, accompanied by ambient music I provide through Watch2Gether and a large and ever growing collection of battlemaps that I have from dozens of artists I back on Patreon, along with custom dungeons built by me.
Homebrew rules
We will be allowing a lot of homebrew content from the fan supplement Paths of Hyrule, but no other houserules.

How Kaybe Angel creates a safe table
In terms of tone, I am going to be aiming for something along the lines of what you would expect to see in one of the darker Legend of Zelda titles. This means things like NPCs dying or being killed, along with signs of past violence and active fantasy violence are on the table, but we will not depict actual gore. Monsters turn into clouds of dust when defeated, human enemies are KO'd and captured, etc. Of course the system we are playing, Pathfinder 2e, can result in player character death during normal game play as a result of mechanical rules. Hero Points mitigate this threat somewhat, but not entirely. We will discuss the possibility of character death, and how we want to play with this possibility in this campaign during Session 0.
