About the adventure
The kingdom of Aeloria is burning at the edges. Once a land of harmony and thriving trade routes, it now buckles under the shadow of ruthless bandits, fractured noble houses, and an ancient evil stirring in forgotten ruins. The royal guard, overstretched and undermined by corruption, can no longer defend the villages scattered across the wilds. Into this chaos steps you—the player—an unlikely hero whose destiny is not carved in prophecy, but forged through choices, steel, and sacrifice. In Hunt Bandits, Save the Kingdom, players embark on an epic open-world adventure blending high fantasy storytelling with tactical combat and dynamic decision-making.

About me
20+ years of GM-ing. Favorite games: Savage Worlds (Adventure Edition) The Wildsea Starforged Dungeon World Nimble I started role-playing more than 20 years ago, when I was 14. Since I wanted to play the most, I instantly became the GM. It has been my passion ever since. I like being a player too, but I enjoy being a GM way more. I started with some Hungarian games (e.g. Káosz RPG, MAGUS) and some games that were popular back then (like WEG Star Wars, Vampire: The Masquerade, DnD 3e, Shadowrun 3e). Since then I have tried almost 2 dozen RPGs and read almost 30. Listened to RPG / GM-ing themed podcasts, watched RPG youtube channels and read quite a few books on GM-ing. Tried some solo games as well (like Thousand Year Old Vampire & Notorious). Ran (and played) many campaigns (Savage Worlds, DND5E, Dungeon World, Wildsea) for my friends and ran some games for strangers too, both personally and online. I occasionally run games for my kids (11, 8) and their friends as well, and at the moment I am playing a GM-less Starforged game with my wife. I always ask for and like getting constructive feedback from my players and constantly strive to get better and better at GM-ing.

Creating your character
We are going to create characters together at session 0. Only the Dungeon World core book will be used. Standard character creation, I will guide you through it. It will be really easy.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You need to have a Discord account and a Foundry account and join the Discord server & the game on Foundry VTT.
What Gaidenn brings to the table
Expect complete freedom of choice, tactical but partly theater of the mind combat with tokens showing relative positions on the map - no need to measure distances! Role-playing moments, surprising twists and the consequences of your own actions (for good or ill).
Homebrew rules
Some new races will be available but other than that, no homebrew rules will be used.

Safety
How Gaidenn creates a safe table
I will send a link to my Lines and Veils document. During session 0 we are going to go over it and extend it if needed. After each session I will ask my players for feedback.
