About the adventure

Beginner-Friendly, BIPOC and 2SLGBTQIA+ Friendly The discovery of their friend’s unexpected murder turns strangers into a crew of unlikely investigators. To find the killer, they’ll need to outrun murderous robots, outwit clever foes, and analyze perplexing clues—all while wondering if they’re hunting the murderer, or if the murderer is hunting them! The streets of Striving can be an unforgiving place, and the investigators will need all their skills, resources—and no small amount of luck—to come out ahead, solve the murder, find the killer’s hideout, and bring them to justice! Even if you have never played a Starfinder game before, now is the time to learn this science fiction fantasy role playing game that has just released its second edition. The is an inclusive game environment. All participants should feel accepted, respected and appreciated. The diversity of the group allows the play we have to be more encompassing and fun.

About me

I have been playing role playing games since picking up Moldvay's Basic DnD box set. I have run a wide variety of games since: AD&D 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th editions, Space 1889 (Savage Worlds edition), GURPS 3rd edition, World of Darkness games, Call of Cthulhu, Ashen Stars (Gumshoe), The Kerberos Club (Fate Edition), Shadowrun 4th edition, 13th Age, and Shadow of the Demon Lord. I also enjoy facilitating more narrative games like Annalise, Shock, 3:16, Apocalypse World, Monster of the Week, Monster Hearts, Remember Tomorrow, Microscope, World Wide Wrestling 2e, Spione, Penny for My Thoughts, and Dirty Secrets. I bring a wide range of experience from a lot of different types of games run. And the most important thing still is that everyone in the session enjoys themselves.

Character creation

Creating your character

Pregenerated characters will be available, but we can also do some character generation during session zero.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

I will be using Foundry VTT to run this game. Foundry runs in your browser and is optimized for laptop/desktop environments. In addition to that, you would need a microphone and webcam.

What Aaron Scott brings to the table

I will be using Starfinder 2e for this game. So this game will help new players learn the system and can take that to other games. I will be providing enough pregenerated characters so everyone can have one. I will be utilizing ambient music.

Safety

How Aaron Scott creates a safe table

We will go over X, N and O usage before play. So everyone is on the same page. Lines and veils will also be discussed before play. Keep in mind that this game is for all ages so adult content is a hard line for this game. Anything too adult for a PG-13 film would pass that line.
