About the adventure
At the dawn of time, a war between the gods and Titans left the world of Thylea forever changed. Thousands of years later, the first mortals arrived, carried by ship and dragon. The Dragonlords were the champions who overthrew the Titans 500 years ago and forged the Oath of Peace. But the power of the Oath has waned, and now the Titans seek vengeance. You are one of the heroes called by prophecy to end the conflict once and for all. Poets will sing of your deeds for centuries to come... if you survive. Taking inspiration from the ancient Greek epics, including The Odyssey, The Iliad, and The Argonautica. We were also influenced by classic films such as Jason and the Argonauts and Clash of the Titans. The world of Thylea is designed to capture the magic of Greek mythology: being called by prophecy, sailing into the unknown, and battling against the gods themselves. Odyssey of the Dragonlords casts your players into the roles of mythic heroes, who have been the subjects of a dire prophecy. This prophecy pits a small band of mortals against the last of the Titans and promises an epic conflict that will forever reshape the world of Thylea. Change Thylea’s history forever, and go down in history as one of the new Dragonlords!

About me
I've been a GM for a variety of TTRPGs since 2012. I've run systems from Dungeons and Dragons and Pathfinder 2e, to Masks, Cypher and even Fate Core. I've found my love of storytelling though this medium to be more than just a hobby, and I put in the work ensuring that my players drive the narrative forward. I've brought many new players in to the TTRPG space, and work well with people that are unexperienced but open to the idea of Roleplaying.

Creating your character
Have a character concept in mind ready to make it through discussion at session zero. Player Primer: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1I7X6ZieaPuhObpUmPBIiwOGVN7EqJFJw/view?usp=sharing
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Be sure to join the discord server. Have a Roll20 account, it's what I use for the Virtual Table Top. A mic is required with camera optional.
What Cayde Tesna brings to the table
I provide, sounds, ambiance and music when appropriate. The additional unique subclasses and races provided to the campaign are available through the roll20 character-mancer, shared by me. I lean heavily into the rule of cool, or in this case, Epic. Using the 2014 rules as a base but allow 2024 content as needed/wanted. I run a friendly table, free from any form of harassment and a comfortable environment to try out new character builds.
Homebrew rules
Changes to the base rules will be done by committee during session zero.
