About the adventure
🤯Theater of the mind ➕Seamless joining 🦖Build your own pirate crew ⚓Low fantasy Embark with your own crew or part of someone else's! Explore the high seas, feel the salt spray, as you explore a world loosely inspired by Asian/Pacific islands. It is a time of high piracy so take to this lively archipelago and be surprised by what lies hidden around the next cove. This is a classic scenario format where we generate your PC quickly as the session starts with a series of questions. This is geared for all experience levels and a narrative only format. We will run 2.5-3.25 hours a session. We will end when we reach a good narrative break for the day. like before an clash of armadas or after a successful treasure hunt. If you have a strict time constraint I can make sure to be done at the 3h point. Turns function pretty rapidly from one person to the next epically during times of action. Look forward to wandering with wonder around the seas with you!! Casey

About me
About me, I am a dad, biologist, chemist, naturalist, and story teller. I have been creating narrative based storytelling games before I knew of dnd and have enjoyed refining my style since. As a naturalist my passion has been to tell educational stories about our natural world while actually exploring it. I am excited to share in the unique stories we will build together. My classic game I started back while on family camping trips in the mid 2000s I have always called scenarios. A narrative only format that plays out similar to an TTRPG with much more freedom. They have taken the form of everything from escaping an alien vessel to the challenges of governing a medieval fiefdom. The format can run from an adventure for 2 wrapping up in 3 hours to a game spanning 5-8 dnd session equivalents. Some of my experience, I have been a GM using the dnd platform since 2011. I have been a game based narrative story teller even longer. I have been running campaigns on roll 20 since 2013 alone. I run all original stories friendly to all. From my "Rites" DND campaign series designed for experienced players to scenarios and other DnD campaigns, geared to be accessible to everyone..

What to expect
Preparing for the session
A discord account is all you need. Maybe a note pad to help remember details as it is a narrative only format.
What Casey Dodge brings to the table
A compelling world and story, a detected discord space to talk with other captains and tell your tails of the high seas. I also keep a detailed track record to help with recaps at the start of each session.

How Casey Dodge creates a safe table
We function with an X card as the fluid nature of the story leaves room to go unexpected places and that gives players the most flexibility to make it remains a safe and fun place to explore. Also, if there are any hard lines feel free to dm me and I will be sure to steer clear ❤️.
