About the adventure

LIGHTS! CAMERA! TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES! ACTION! Weird Heroes of Public Access is rules lite homage to the golden days of analog weirdness. Players will create a public access tv host (the weirder, the better) and then solve mysterious leads given to them by The Station Manager. This TTRPG takes the vibes of early PBS and throws it into a blender with Twin Peaks style bizarreness to create a setting that is both hilarious and terrifying at the same time. *FIRST SESSION ALWAYS FREE* There is nothing worse than paying to sit at a table where you don’t remotely fit it. That’s why I make sure that your first session is always free. Come spend a few hours with the group and make sure our table is right for you before committing to a paid session.

About me

I specialize in running alternate game systems that allow players to both experience and contribute to the narratives being developed at our table. Few things in this world brings me more joy than this. It’s both magical and humbling every time I see a new player unlocking their imagination knowing that I was the one who gave them the key and pointed them towards the door. *FIRST SESSION IS ALWAYS FREE* There is nothing worse than spending money to sit at a table where you absolutely don’t fit in. That’s why I don’t charge for first sessions. I encourage anyone interested in playing in one of my games to join in for a session and see if the table is right for you! Want to join a game but there are no open tables at times that work for you? Message me directly about opening up additional time slots and we’ll see what we can do about accommodating a game that works for you and your schedule.

Character creation

Creating your character

Character creation in Weird Heroes is pretty simple so we will create our hosts as a group at the beginning of the campaign in accordance to rules in the game manual. I do request that you have a character name and an idea for what kind of show they host prior to the first session to speed up character creation.

The current party

Fellow cohost Vampire Dave was found drained by a REAL vampire. Supernatural hijinks were quick to follow!

What to expect

Preparing for the session

Players will not need anything to play except a discord account, some paper, a pencil, and an internet connection. If players would like to print out a character sheet prior to play there are plenty of different sheets available online if you just use your preferred search engine. You are more than welcome to use one, but it absolutely is not necessary for the campaign.

What GM G.T.’s ALT TTRPGs brings to the table

Players can expect me to bring a comprehensive understanding of the rules, a whole town full of weird and random things to encounter, and an eagerness to guide players as they adventure through their adventure.

Safety

How GM G.T.’s ALT TTRPGs creates a safe table

I absolutely encourage players to submit any lines and/or veils they may have to me prior to the start of our game and I will inform the other players of any lines and/or veils that were submitted at the beginning of our game. Our game will also have a judgment free open door policy, meaning any player may take a break from the game at any time and for any reason. Players who fail to respect these safety rules will get exactly one warning. A second violation will result in an immediate expulsion from the game as well as a ban from all future games at my table.
