About the adventure
Learn to play Daggerheart from levels 1 to 10 in this 5 month campaign! Enter a world where to descend below the clouds is to perish, where massive clanships glide above the clouds between villages nestled in the highest mountain valleys. • Discover how to adventure around deadly environments that are instant death to those who enter them. • Unearth why events are suddenly going wrong after centuries of peace before chaos engulfs and destroys your people. • Command your own flying ship and soar across the skies! • Expose ancient powers and ancient secrets and usher in a new era for your people. Above the clouds is safe, below is death. That's how it's been for centuries. Using scraps of magic and technology from the past, flying ships were created and life has continued among the peaks of the world, insulated from what remains below. Now the clans are meeting again at an ancient sacred site and things are immediately going wrong. Join and discover what happens next as we create heroes and fight to save your people and restore your world!

About me
Hey folks! I'm Pete, known online as StenBjorn! I run Stone Bear Crafting and Games, a business dedicated to painting miniatures, 3d printing, building terrain, writing adventures, and helping customers have an awesome gaming experience! I've been playing D&D since family introduced me to the game in the late 80s. I have played and Game Mastered through a multitude of editions, learned other game systems, and never stopped loving storytelling through games - and hanging out with cool people! It's very important to me that everyone is welcome at my table. I'm happy to teach and believe learning is constant, and that when we're sitting at the table, we're all working together as a team. In that spirit, I don't tolerate bigotry of any sort. I want my games to be a safe space for group fun and growth and amazing storytelling! No generative AI is used in any of my games or productions.

Creating your character
We'll create characters together at level 1 during session 0/0.5! We will be using standard Daggerheart character creation, including helping fill out the map of the region we'll be playing in! We will not be using the Winged Sentinel Seraph sub-class, nor the Faerie ancestry unless you're willing to swap out flight for another ancestry feature.
• This is a learn to play Daggerheart campaign, everyone is welcome, we're all here to learn! We love beginners here and I'm so happy to teach! • We will doing be a session 0 and a session 0.5 while we build out the world together, as well as your characters and their attachments to each other!

How Pete - StenBjorn creates a safe table
My games put story first, and I encourage role playing and creative thinking! Big swings are fun! I will provide combat, exploration, puzzles, and plenty of role playing opportunities! These games don’t work if we don’t think like a team, and work best when we’re all working together. I expect players at my table to respect each other, the story, and me. We will be working together to explore characters and tell a story. Optimization of your character is fine, but if math is the main attraction of the game for you, my table may not be what you’re looking for. I treat RPGs not as games to be won, but experiences to be built. I enjoy challenging combats and will throw them your way, but they have to serve the story. I ask all my players to be good to each other! Be cool, and we shall have a great time together. I don’t strictly follow Rules As Written, but I don’t deviate from RAW for no reason. That being said, I definitely believe in the rule of cool, as long as it doesn’t bend reality, and I use a few house rules for fun, flavor, and ease of use. These will be talked about in session 0. My games are for a mature audience, and I swear like a pirate when it’s appropriate(in character). I welcome anyone to chat about expectations, but I do aim for an adult game, and as these games are fantasy/sci-fi, there will be conflict and violence and raised voices. I use the X(red), N(yellow), and O(green) card system during game play. This functions through Foundry with the /whisper gm command and as a module. No explanation is needed when these are used. Before we start I will also be asking everyone to fill out the Digital RPG Consent Checklist by Kienna Shaw and Lauren Bryant-Monk(Adapted from Monte Cook Games). I have a zero tolerance policy for harassment or discrimination of any sort, including race, creed, colour, gender, sexual orientation, etc. I(the GM) reserve the right to remove a player immediately if they are in violation of this rule.
