About the adventure
Even the gods are bound by prophecy... Join me in this mythical campaign for the world's biggest roleplaying game! Odyssey of the Dragonlords is a mythological campaign set in the world of Thylea, inspired by the ancient Greek mythology. In this campaign, you will be heroes foretold by prophecy to face the Mighty Titans , who threaten the world and the gods. This campaign will be heavily modified as its going to use elements from other modules/ sourcebooks other than the main module, for example incorporating several elements of Mythic Odysseys of Theros and homebrew, without affecting the core basis of the module itself. Choose from an array of mythical races, or any race known to the D&D mythos, and a great amount of new subclasses, special epic paths which are backgrounds with their own quests and ties to the story, special and powerful weapons, items and spells, all tailored to this new setting. Sail the seas of Thylea and uncover ancient mysteries, exotic islands and encounters that will help (or hinder) your mighty quest!

About me
Hi! I'm a DM with plenty of experience under my belt, I have been playing D&D since the early 2000s, mostly as a GM, starting with AD&D and culminating with many years in 5e. I also play a wide variety of other systems as well, like Dragonbane, Alien RPG, Pathfinder , etc. I am bilingual as well, offering games in both spanish and english , I am also very experience running games for many different group types , from the crunch loving old school crowd to more roleplaying oriented group in a rules light setting. I have always loved TTRPGs and I'm very passionate about my games, I will always try to add my own signature to even written official modules. In my games usually I try to balance between the holy trifecta of structure for RPGs, a good balance of the Three Pillars, Combat, Roleplay and Exploration . My personal style is more of old school adventuring and tough but fair combat and I love moral conundrums in certain situations In my games , I use discord and roll20 or foundry vtt, with full dynamic lightning and modded support and access to the in world compendiums with almost all major books so you can design your characters without limitations , no worries if you don't know how to use these tools, as I always prepare a session 0 in my campaigns (free of charge) to explain everything regarding the systems used and tools , and the expectations for the game itself as well . Creating your character
This campaign will feature many new subclasses, feats, races , items and spells, all tailored for the ancient mythology setting. Player characters can also be created from any D&D 5e sourcebook , We will be using the 2024 rules . I will provide all the character options and sourcebooks as well through D&D beyond
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Player's should have access to Discord and might need to create an account to the VTT which will be free of course. A good mic is advisable, but there is no requirement for a webcam . Since this is a custom campaign, there will be a player's guide I will send with the new character options and lore , which will be highly advisable to read in advance, but not required as we will go through with some of this content on session 0 . I will facilitate help with the technical tools like discord and the VTT as well in case its needed.
What DM Seb brings to the table
What I bring to the game? I will bring custom VTT options, macros, dynamic lighting and music, as well as compendiums for all the current source books (or most of them) in the VTT and D&D Beyond, also if you are a beginner , no worries, as I will teach you everything you need to know regarding the systems, VTT and all other tools . Prepare for fun tactical battles as well, changing dynamic environments and much more! I like to provide a challenge for my players balanced with roleplay and puzzles
Homebrew rules
We are going to use the flanking rules (even if they don't exist in the 2024 version) you will be getting advantage on flanking enemies . Also there are unique races, subclasses and backgrounds exclusive to this campaign

During session 0 we will discuss many of the game's details, including character creation options, expectations, getting to know the group, the setting and minor story, also as well, any mechanics we are adding and of course safety tools, in the form of lines and veils, I will send a form to each player so everyone can set those in detail
