About the adventure

Creating your character
🎲 There will be an initial session 0 where we will discuss all character creations options. However to give you an idea a great place to start is that we will be using 2024 core rules and features. 🎲 Characters for this campaign will start at level 5 and go all the way to level 20. In addition you will begin with standard starting equipment as well as some extra magic items 📢📢 🎲 When you join the campaign shoot me a dm in discord (dyearwood75) and I will send you a link to a $0 DNDbeyond campaign to build your new characters!

Playing with me is very easy and best of all there is nothing you need to buy I will bring the dice. 🔵You will need a Free account on DNDbeyond and I will send you a link to the campaign to start your character. 🔵a discord account and join our OnlyDragons group https://discord.gg/D72Qv2mH. 🔵and a free account on the Forge https://forge-vtt.com/.
What David brings to the table
I consider myself a narrative dm, I live to create an immersive experience with detailed maps, NPC art, sound effects, music, ambient sounds and more. I love telling a great story and see my DND games as a choose your own adventure novel that I am your narrator for. I love portraying your humble bard and put on a show but if your not as comfortable in full Roleplay mode that is no problem, lets build your story together and live out your DND fantasy without the need for long monologues. In combat just as in the story I like it to feel immersive with spell effects, easy to use tools to prevent 4th wall breaks, and enemies that feel just as real as the world. I am a tactician at heart so just as much as I love to pump you up and build your dream character the enemies you will face have a mind of their own as well.

I base my games off of Rules as Written but during session 0 as a group we will decide on any third party or optional rules to use during the game.

Feel free to reach out if you are interested in joining my game, I would love to have you. When you join you will be sent a downloadable form for lines and that you can simply dm back to me. Initially this will be used during session 0 to set the ground rules for the game. But feel free anytime to let me know if something needs to be tweaked or changed so were all ready for the next session. Also during session 0 and several times throughout the campaign well have fireside chats to discuss stars and wishes to learn how everyone wants to have the game run and what we can do together to make the best possible experience for everyone.
