About the adventure

In the fallen realm of Aglarion, a chilling curse taints the crown. Crown of the Oathbreaker casts you into a dark fantasy sandbox where truth is buried beneath layers of royal treachery, hag-made pacts, and infernal bargains. You’ll uncover secrets from a forgotten dynasty, confront a witch-knight bound to vengeance, and decide whether to mend the realm—or see it burn. Your journey carries you from the twisted courts of onyx hags to the perilous wilds of the Feyrealm, the shadow-wrought depths of the Shadowrealm, and even the hellish abyss itself. With over 40 dungeon maps, three sprawling regional maps, and hundreds of locations, every path promises new horrors, moral dilemmas, and untold rewards. This adventure is not just written, it was built by a community through Kickstarter. With design guidance from over 2,000 RPG fans, every NPC, item, and encounter reflects the collaborative vision of passionate players. Expect unique spells, subclasses, monsters, and stories born of shared inspiration. Come, if you seek an epic saga of honor, horror, and hidden legacies. In Crown of the Oathbreaker, your choices will shape whether a kingdom falls—or rises again.

About me

Salutations and roll for Initiative! I have been playing D&D 5e since Curse of Strahd came out and haven't stopped. Four years ago I became a professional DM and started my own online server and have been running my pay to play games ever since. I'm a fan of rule of cool, enjoy spending my freetime finding new battlemaps and writing up side quests for my players, I also enjoy applying music to help set the theme and use Kenku FM for music and sfx. The one thing I don't do is coddle me players, I keep the stakes high and PC death is a real possibility, so if your looking for a challenge and don't want your DM to hand hold you through encounters then I'm your DM. If you want to hear from my players you're more then welcome to speak with them too!

Character creation

Creating your character

New players start at the current group's level, and get an unpaid Session 0 to discuss and collaborate on character creation an to discuss the campaign and players. Stats are done by rolling 4d6 or taking Standard Array if you roll poorly in Roll20, I also allow taking half the hit dice +1 if you roll lower then that on hit dice for level ups. Anything published by WotC is allowed but I also have some homebrew available.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

Players will need a mic and headset for audio purposes. In addition, you will need to setup free accounts on Roll20 and Discord. It's recommended that your understand the basics of D&D 5e and read the player info for the setting not only for lore on the world but also additional character creation options.

What DM Deadman brings to the table

I have a paid Roll20 account so all the benefits of a Pro subscription using their API features. I have a subscription to CzePeku and Neutral Party battlemaps, Kenku FM for music & sfx, Discord for voice and community with other players in my games. For myself I am a tough but fair GM, I like to run challenging encounters that has a risk of PC death. I like to keep the rules light and approve of improv and thinking outside the box ideas. I enjoy doing character voices, creating boss mechanics and side quest activities.
