Sadly can only pick 3 tags for Deadman, but as someone who came to the hobby a year ago after a 30 year (and 3 editions) hiatus, virtually new, especially in the new world of remote, virtual table games, I cannot recommend Deadman enough. He runs fun and wildly entertaining campaigns and is patient and helpful for newbies like myself who had to (and still do) ask a lot of questions and perhaps need some handholding before feeling like you know what you’re doing. Does a plethora of great voices for characters/races and is quick to laugh if the characters want to make some jokes or perhaps veer a slight bit off the plan if the story makes sense. Extremely helpful in-between sessions and willing to work with you on things you may want or are curious about. Also has some really good home-brew rules that make a lot of sense, among a crowd of pleasant individuals who are spread out all over the country for remote games. If you’ve been wanting to sate your curiosity for role playing as a first timer or one who has been away from the hobby for 30+ years like myself, this is a perfect community to learn, grow and more than anything have a blast with. Grizzled veterans will find a reliable, flexible and fun game with some welcome tweaks and willingness to accommodate. I’m just lucky to have landed here a year ago while fumbling around online trying to start playing again and found a new clan of my own once a week. Happy adventuring!
