About the adventure

Neverwinter. The Jewel of the North. The city of Skilled Hands. "All in all, Neverwinter is perhaps the most cosmopolitan city in Faerûn..." - Volothamp Geddarm, Volo's Guide to the North Welcome to Auditor Snook's Neverwinter Chronicle: The Savage North, a campaign where official adventures, original stories, and player choices combine into one evolving history. This campaign is inspired by the beloved games Neverwinter Nights (PC 2002), Neverwinter (PC 2013), the modules Lost Mine of Phandelver, Dragons of Stormwreck Isle, Dragon of Icespire Peak, and by the Neverwinter Campaign Setting(4e). ---------------------------------------- Why The Savage North? 🌍 A Living World The city changes even when your party isn't looking. ⚔️ One Continuous Story Official adventures, homebrew, and DMSGUILD content are all woven together into a single seamless campaign. 🏛 Persistent Consequences Future heroes witness the footprints the previous heroes leave behind. ---------------------------------------- What Awaits You - 🏰 Ancient elven ruins 🐉 Dragons and forgotten magic ⚔ Political intrigue 🕯 Hidden cults 🌲 Dangerous frontiers ---------------------------------------- **⚠️ Please Be Advised ⚠️** Depending on your group's pace, playstyle, and interest in exploration, the campaign may last several months or longer. Groups that enjoy uncovering lore, pursuing side quests, and immersing themselves in the city of Neverwinter and the Savage North will find a richly detailed, content-dense experience with a great deal to discover. A typical D&D campaign arc with Auditor Snook often spans approximately 15-20 sessions for more action oriented games and up to 30 or more for those that pursue more in the setting.

About me

🖐🏼 Greetings and salutations! I am the honorable Auditor Snook. I have been sent here to accompany you through the infinite cosmos of fantasy and fiction! 🎲 I am a lifelong adventurer, storyteller, and your next favorite Dungeon Master! With over 20 years of tabletop and gaming experience (dating back to my childhood days of HEROQUEST, D&D, and classic video games 👾), I specialize in creating worlds where imagination and cooperation take the lead. I am also the author of the e-book "Beyond the Dice: A Pocket Guide for Game Masters" for sale on Amazon. This book is not as much about the rules of the game, but more about using your imagination to write better stories for you and your friends that are playing amazing table top games! 📖You can find my book here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0FPQ6J2QG Whether you’re a seasoned player or brand new to the table, I love guiding groups through the magic of roleplay - be it epic long-form campaigns full of drama and discovery 🎭, or quick, action-packed one-shots perfect for pick-up groups ⚔️. I’m especially passionate about on-boarding new players, making the rules easy to learn and the experience welcoming for all. I’m currently running a Neverwinter campaign on Tuesday nights and on Thursday nights for players ready to step into the same living world. My games focus on storytelling, cinematic combat, meaningful choices, and giving players the chance to truly inhabit their heroes. In the shadows of Neverwinter, every decision matters and every character has a place in the story. This is a campaign that grows from what the players bring to the table. If you’re looking for a campaign where your actions shape the world and the story keeps unfolding week after week, there’s always room for another hero. 🐉✨ My Neverwinter campaign will be going through a soft reboot for Season 3. Please stay tuned for more information as it arises.

Character creation

Creating your character

We will be using POINT BUY to ensure a fair and even starting point for our heroes, and AL legal. All characters will begin at level 1, with some kind of background tying them to the city of Neverwinter. (We can discuss in much more detail during session 0.) Characters may be created using whatever platform you prefer. Add 1 additional feat at lvl 1, if your background does not already do so.

The current party

Be sure to bring a character appropriate for Forgotten Realms, and be open to finding a good tie-in to the city. 🔥Ureni, Brass Dragonborn Barbarian ☮️Ararel, Half-Elf Paladin 🍃Kynas, Saytr Druid 💰Lane, Elf Rogue -- (Hiatus)
