About the adventure
This game will explore the Undermountain, a sprawling dungeon beneath the city of Waterdeep. Join us for a fantasy dungeon crawl, fighting off horrible monsters, meeting interesting NPCs, and exploring the world beneath. The dungeon is always changing and evolving, connected to magic and mystery with something for everyone in between. My games typically follow Rules as Written, with a few house rules agreed upon by the group. If you like driving the story with some casual roleplay mixed in where needed, you'll fit in well at my table.

About me
I've been playing Dungeons and Dragons 5e since 2020, and DMing games since 2021. Chemistry professor by day, dungeon crawler by night, I love playing the game and seeing the creativity of the players as the story develops.

Creating your character
The first session of the campaign will be a session 0 to square away character creation, cover safety content, and give an overview of the adventure, and depending on time, we may begin roleplay and the first actual session if everyone feels ready. Characters will start at level 5, with stats chosen using point buy or standard array. You can use any character sheet you would like, but dndbeyond is preferred. Characters should be made using the 2024 ruleset and expanded rules. No homebrew, unearthed arcana, or 3rd party content.
The party is currently level 11 We have a fighter, cleric, paladin/rogue and warlock. Equipment allowed for starting at a higher level: 7500 gp, Two common, three uncommon, and one rare magic item, normal starting equipment.

What Bre brings to the table
I offer a well-organized and immersive Dungeons & Dragons experience, perfect for new players looking to dive into the world of Waterdeep! What’s Included: - D&D Beyond Access – I provide official content, making character creation and reference easy. - Virtual Tabletop (VTT) – Maps, tokens, and visual aids will be used to bring Waterdeep to life. - Ambient Music & Soundscapes – To set the mood, enhance immersion, and bring the world to life. My GM Style: I run games with a strong focus on combat and puzzles, blending tactical encounters with engaging problem-solving. I love when players get creative, but I generally stick to Rules as Written (RAW) to keep things fair and consistent, with a few homebrew tweaks to enhance play. While I enjoy strategic battles and tricky challenges, I’m also a sucker for great roleplay moments! Whether it’s deep character interactions, tense negotiations, or comedic banter, I love seeing players bring their characters to life. Expect a mix of tense combat, clever puzzles, and memorable storytelling, with plenty of opportunities to shine no matter your playstyle. New to D&D? No worries! I’ll guide you through the mechanics, help with rules, and ensure you have a smooth and exciting adventure. Let’s bring your characters to life and embark on a heist for the ages!
Homebrew rules
Homebrew rules will be discussed as a group prior to starting the campaign. We currently use flanking as a +2 bonus on attack rolls.
