About me
Greetings, brave adventurers! My tale as a Dungeon Master begins not in a mythical land far away, but in a setting just as impactful—the camaraderie and challenges of a deployment. Amidst the trials, Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition and Pathfinder 1st Edition became more than games; they were escapes into realms of endless possibility, where my buddies and I could explore, conquer, and create for 5-10 hours a day. The experience was transformative, turning ordinary days into extraordinary adventures. My journey started with a character that will forever hold a special place in my heart, symbolizing not just a role in a game, but a part of my identity. As time went on, the difficulty of finding games that matched the intensity and camaraderie of those deployment sessions led me to Roll20. There, I not only found new parties but also had the opportunity to bring them into the very first world I had ever explored as a player. This process was not just about gaming; it was a path to discovering more about myself and what I truly valued in these shared experiences. As your Dungeon Master, my deepest hope and joy lie in recreating that same sense of magic and discovery for others. I aim to guide you through stories that are more than just adventures—they are opportunities to explore yourselves, to build bonds that transcend the game, and to find joy in the shared creativity that tabletop RPGs offer. What sets me apart is not just my background or my passion for TTRPGs, but my commitment to capturing the essence of those first, unforgettable sessions. My style blends the immersive world-building of those early campaigns with the flexibility and innovation that comes from years of adapting stories for new parties online. I believe in creating a space where every decision matters, where every character can change the world, and where every player has the opportunity to find a bit of themselves in the adventure. If you're looking for a Dungeon Master who understands the power of TTRPGs to bring people together, create lasting memories, and reveal inner truths, then look no further. I invite you to join me at the table, where we can embark on a journey not just through fantastical landscapes, but also through the landscapes within ourselves. Let's create those unforgettable moments together. The adventure begins now, and I can't wait to see what magic we will discover together.

Creating your character
We’ll create characters together during Session 0 to make sure the party feels connected. Characters start at Level 1 using Pathfinder 2e’s standard character creation rules. Anything with the Rare tag requires GM approval, but everything else is open. I recommend Pathbuilder 2e for planning and tracking your character. We’ll be using the following optional rules: 1. Ancestral Paragon 2. Free Archetype 3. Gradual Ability Boosts
1. Wizard
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You’ll need a microphone. Webcams are optional—we’ll decide as a group if we want to see each other’s faces and expressions, just like at a real table. Please read the free Age of Ashes Player’s Guide (I’ll provide the link). I’ll also share a short primer so you can jump in knowing the stakes and setting. You’re welcome to sketch out a character ahead of time, but Pathfinder 2e works best when the party is built together. We’ll finalize characters during Session 0 so no one feels lost or left out. We’ll play on Foundry VTT with Discord for voice and onboarding. Once you join Discord, I’ll provide access links and make sure everyone’s set up before we roll dice. New to Pathfinder 2e? No problem. I’ll walk you through the rules and character creation step by step. If you’re a veteran, I’ll make sure you’re challenged and engaged. Either way, the goal is the same: a table where everyone feels like a hero.
What Anarian brings to the table
A full Foundry VTT setup—no prep or downloads needed on your end, just click the link and play. Custom maps and tokens to make the world come alive. I can even create a unique token from your character’s image. Immersive storytelling with character voices and ambient music to set the tone. A balance of intense, tactical combat and the Rule of Cool—I’ll keep the action challenging, but your creativity always takes priority. A welcoming table with one rule: don’t be a jerk. Show up ready to play, have fun, and we’ll work out the rest together.
Homebrew rules
Homebrew Rules Hero Points: Everyone starts each session with 1 Hero Point. In addition, Foundry automatically awards a bonus Hero Point every hour to a random player. In addition- if there's a really cool thing you do I will 100% award a hero point! So use em and abuse em, they're gonna be given out regularly. Using Hero Points: Spend 1 to reroll any d20 and take the better result, or spend all your Hero Points at once to stabilize while dying. You can also give your hero points to other players should they need it or want it. Build Flexibility: If a character build feels underpowered or overly niche, I’ll work with you to adjust it so it stays fun and balanced with the rest of the party. This is in addition to pathfinder 2e having built in rules for retraining. I keep homebrew light, but I’ll always make sure the rules support fun, fairness, and epic moments.

Safety
How Anarian creates a safe table
For X, N, and O - you'll be able to DM that to me directly in discord or in the lobby chat in Foundry. Session 0 we will all talk through our boundaries so we all have a clear understanding of what we are willing to do and not willing to do. The Open Door policy will remain in effect at all times. This means you can take a break at any time for your own safety or leave at any time for your own safety without fear of judgement. I tend to check in with my players after every session so I can continue to improve and check on the wellbeing of my players to make sure everyone is still in a good headspace as well as debriefing after the game is concluded.
