Creating your character

Each Interdimensional Oddities adventure is a standalone one-shot, so characters will typically be created before the session begins. You’ll receive a short prompt or theme for the week’s adventure, and you’re free to get creative and go wild with your character concept—Trinkx loves eccentric guests. Level: Players join at whatever level the current "guests" of Trinkx party are at. (level 1 starting) Stats: Use Point Buy or Standard Array. (If you're not sure how to do this within Shard, no worries—I'll help!) Sources: Most official 5e content - plus the homebrew I have added - are welcome. If you want to use UA, homebrew, or third-party content, just run it by me first. Theme: Expect your character to be pulled into wild, unpredictable realms. Weird backstories, quirky builds, and strange classes/races are highly encouraged. Need help or want to get approval for a character? Join the Discord and tag me @knotzmusic (message for discord)

Preparing for the session

Before joining Interdimensional Oddities, make sure you’re set up for smooth interplanar chaos. Here’s what you need to do: Join the Discord Server – This is where all game coordination, character submissions, and portal nonsense happens. Tag me @knotzmusic once you’re in. Have a Mic + Quiet Space – We’ll be using voice chat via Discord, so make sure you’ve got a working mic and a relatively quiet environment..

What Jason (KNOTZ) brings to the table

Ambient music, character art, and rule of cool are all welcome at my table! I used Shard tabletop and have content unlocked for when you make your characters. I try to find ways to make the games unique and engaging for all. We will follow D&D 5e rules, but always open to a potential change of pace depending on the situation. Homebrew rules

Health Potions: You may use a bonus action to consume a healing potion- in which the usual dice roll will determine how much is regained. You may use an action to consume a healing potion- in which the highest amount of regained health points will be gained instead. It takes a full action to administer a health potion to another player, in which the usual dice roll will determine how much that players health is regained. How Jason (KNOTZ) creates a safe table

Throughout the game, you can utilize X, N, & O cards by reaching out to the DM directly through Discord messaging. We'll have a brief 10-minute break around midway, but feel free to step away whenever you need to attend to yourself (we operate on an Open Door Policy). Additionally, players are encouraged to contact the DM via direct messaging if they have any game-related worries.
